purchased four 6L brandables sold one already.

I have found potential end-users. Was on the phone to one of them today, he had the .IM of the name and i have the .com

He obviously needs it, yet he said he wouldn't offer anything more than $100 because according to him, the .IM just works fine for him. Haha see ya later i wonder how he will feel when he sees someone else snaps up his name.

With the .IM, He doesn't even rank high for his name, he's like 5th in the list on page one of google.

The second brandable, i purchased this one 2weeks ago. Not really a brandable, more like an existing service, can't say the name but its a type of dance.

Found the end user on Facebook, asked him if he wanted it, he had the name trademarked in the US so he said he needed it. I told him $1000 he countered with $400. He said he had other domain names and he could do without mine. I knew he was lying but i needed the cash flow at the time (Mums birthday was round the corner) so i accepted his bargain. I read online that his dance class gets 200 people a day.

Now i have two brandable .coms left, and one selfish end user. I havent gotten round to contacting the other end user yet.

Btw i didnt spend anything more than $50 for any of these names. I have other names that aren't 6 L but they are really good .coms. Just gotta find the right buyer.

PM me if you want to know what the names of my 6 Letter .coms were.

I couldn't post them on here because well i don't want the end users to find me "Bitching" about them on namepros now do i hahah

I get that a lot when I contact owners of other extensions. Some are just trying to get a cheap price for
the domain (nothing wrong with that). But some also just don't understand the importance of owning the
.COM version.

Trying to sell them their own TM ? Not smart. This is a strategy that can backfire, he probably doesn't realize he's entitled to file a UDRP against you or sue... even though that may not be cost-effective.

The name was regged in 2004, i looked up his TM and it was in 2012.

The title says End users - How they react in real life. I'm telling people how end users react. See it as a diary. Lesson to other domainers maybe.

Yeah i know right. Some people just dont understand till its too late. If a massive company bought the domain name, he would be biting his fingernails because its a really really good brandable i'm shocked he didn't acquire it first

That argument only flies if you bought the domain before the first use date of his trademark.

1. feels like tearing $200 from the heart but buy for $1000 when godaddy says it is a premium domain.
2. hardly able to offer $1000-1500 in multi-step nego but running up on the same domain till high xxxx-low xx,xxx when got inlvoled in a snap/nj auction
3. get a price agreed upon to later turn back on you
4. huge companies offering you $1000 and not budging because of the godaddy appraisal on the domain you can get more from resellers for it
5. offering you $100 because they want to run a "blog to contribute to people lives" believing you should feel bad about yourself not to give it up to them for such a noble cause - without realizing you do not need a Ferrari to reach from point A to B, a bicycle will suffice.
1% of inquiries is what it's all about..but what do I know?
I stopped jumping on my chair when I get an inquiry on the domain because ^^ 95% of the folks are like that and will be a waste of time (and there was the time when I used to LOL)
just stating how they react, such is the life))
