Efty.com Review

I am thinking of trying https://www.efty.com/

I'm wondering if I can get some pros and cons from members.

I have almost 300 domains so these some of the items I would like to discuss before signing up.

1. Getting the information in via excel seems to be the best option, is that correct?

2. Do I have to transfer the domain to efty or just change nameservers?

3. If I only change name servers then I have added more work because I have to maintain dates and prices in efty plus watch my registrar.

4. They seem to be in bed with Escrow and the buy now function looks like it depends on that. Is there another way to do buy now? I have my own payment processing machine and I use it or bank transfers.

5. Are there any other costs other than the quoted monthly fee.

6. Even using the excel spread sheet it looks like an awful lot of work to get everything in when there are 300 domains involved. Is it worth the time and effort on top of information already supplied by my registrar?

7. Is there a similar service and how do their tools compare?

8. Uniregistry looks like it may have similar services and ultimately it would be easier to manage the domains right from the registrar but I'm not hot on paying a 15% commission on sales. Discuss Uniregistry advantages if any.

Because most of my domains is handreg and less than 2 years old, lol..

Agreed. I'd be interested in trying but would like to push some offers to Sedo, GoDaddy Premium, etc.

btw - who creates logos? Do we do that ourselves? If so, does anyone farm this out to someone like fiverr or?

I love Efty!! Since I joined them my sales have picked up tremendously. Platform is easy to use and customer service is excellent. Definitely worth the small monthly payment.

Hi Efty users, in the last 2 months I did not receive any offers, which is not real. Prior to this, I received an average of 10-15 offers a month. At whom still so? All this looks strange, yesterday I could not visit my parked landing page, Avast antivirus blocked a page and alerted with red. I also checked, also CAPTCHA sometimes does not work, which makes it even more difficult to send offers by potential buyers.Who else has this situation. How do I remove a captcha from my landing pages?

Ok, it works with Ad Block Plus even with "show some non-intrusive ads" unchecked.

zero possibility of customization.
all websites look the same, it is even impossible to add a few own css lines.
and existed templates look so-so.. not good visual design..
I mean the frontpage...
how many customers do you have? a few thousands? more?
and all with the same design... the same template...clumsy style

I do know as well with Efty when you do an offer it requires the person to confirm there email with a link. if they don't YOU never get the message. plus/minus to this as it controls spam BUT if it is someone that is not computer savoy they may never confirm that email and you will never see the offer

We must probably have lost a lot of sales because of that.

Would love the ability to customize the look a bit more, I'm currently using Efty but I think the lack of customization and a few other quirks are what will ultimately lead me to find a good theme/script and host my own portfolio.

Other than that, I do like using it, and appreciate the folks at Efty being helpful and good to deal with. A free option without customization and a paid option with more freedom would be cool.

I have been saying that since I started using Efty. We should be able to customize almost everything. And also that logos should not be necessary. If we don't have a logo and we need to 'showcase' that domain we shouldn't be forced to make one. And that area for logos looks very bad if we don't put a logo in there.

You can still see the offers if they do not confirm the email. Go to INSIGHTS / INQUIRIES

NOTE: I have the lowest paid plan on an annual subscription -- so not sure if that feature is there for the Trial version...

oh man why did i never knew about it!!!

I have received dozens of offers and I never received an email for them probably because the people who inquired never clicked on the confirmation email link!!! I hope they are still interested.
