I examine the financial statements of Wise, and ask the question "Did TransferWise pay $2 million to acquire and rebrand to the Wise.com domain name?"

I was a customer of TransferWise, and subsequently became a customer of Wise. They helped me to get a US$ account in USA. It wasn't easy. On the reverse side of trading, Afternic cannot pay me into my US$ bank account in US, because their account form only can pay me in the country where I live, and there form doesn't allow you to pay into a US$ bank account in USA. It must be in the country where you live. What a cluster-f***.

I'm pretty pleased with my US$ account though, even though Afternic cannot pay US$ or anything else, into it

But back on topic. I thought it was a fair price @ US$2M. I think its quite hard to start second guessing prices after the event. But we all do it
