Brandbucket might try to muffle up data?

  • This poll is still running and the standings may change.
  • It Just a temporary change for the time being

Brandbucket might try to muffle up data?

My prediction: Brandbucket thinks removing sold domain ribbon would prevent Brandbucket watchdogs from knowing which domains actually sold.

What is your prediction?

a.) It Just a temporary change for the time being

b.) The change is put in place as a measure to make it less clear on what domains actually sold

c.) It’s just a bug

d.) Change is put in place to make customers think the name is still available and after making an inquiry brandbucket will suggest an alternative name to the potential buyers

e.) I don’t care.

No, it is a common situation when the buyer changes his mind, before receiving the domain. That removes the red ribbon.

Have a look at the sold list and check again.

Does it happen for many of the sold domains from the past?

It could be that the buyer changed their mind (I don't know if they allow that) or it could be something wrong with the payment? This is why they say don't count the domain as sold, until you get the official email from Khalan BrandBucket sales manager.

It happens somewhat often.

MK had a sold domain last month, B/u/i/l/t/S/i/m/p/l/e.com

I noticed it was featured in the recently added domain section most if not all Easter weekend.

I sold a BB domain to a reseller on NP last year. This domain had a sold sticker last month as well, but the sale didn't materialize. This domain was not bumped and featured in the recently added section.

Check the list of feb sales that was compiled example: .brandbucket.com/backpath

it's same for all.

My question / concern is how often are these domains bumped to recently added when sales fall through. Is it just for the ones who receive preferential treatment, or is it for all sellers?

We can verify which domains were re-bumped and featured on the homepage via archive.org screenshots. It would be easier if another BrandBucker watchdog had a spreadsheet of their recently added domains in sequence.
