Started a series called Brandable Daily Sales Analysis and would like to share some useful discoveries.
    Lets now dive in.

First would be Fitalytics (dot) com

    Note the following.

    Registration Date: 2010-06-02

    Month of Sale: 2016-05

    Domain Length: 10 Characters

    Domain History: [IMG]

As you can see the current nameserver from the image suggests that the domain was recently added to brandbucket marketplace. Also that the domain was first registered back in 2008 although the current registration date is 2010-06-02 We can also see that it’s very likely that the domain has changed hands prior its sale on brandbucket.

Other Extensions : 1 other extensions has been taken

Google Popularity: On Google first page results it has 9 similar mentions excluding where domain is brandbucket. The most interesting part is that the name “Fitalytic” was mentioned on CrunchBase. We can conclude that it’s Google Popularity is strong.

Social Handles: It’sTwitter has been taking since 2012. The Facebook handle has also been taken.

    Dictionary Keywords: Fit, and Italy.

Brandbucket Sold Keyword: Aly Example of sold domain that contain such keyword dailydealy.com .

    Other Keywords: Taly, Alytic, Aly

Similar End User Domain currently in use: talytics.com This simply suggests some trends from the word Alytic.

Some good insights. To my eye Fitalytics is a combination of the words FIT and ANALYTICS.

Who else thinks the analysis should have only been at FIT and ANALYTICS because I have a question for you.

You don't see it in any other way in terms of discovering trends and for discovering new opportunities ?

No, sorry, every time I look at it my mind just breaks it down into the words fit and analytics.

What could you say about the domain talytics.com which is currently at use by a company is it not some proof of some trends?

Apparently a combination of talent and analytics.

I did not say it was a bad name just that all that comes to mind is a combination of fit and analytics.

Okay if I decide to take advantage in this trend my keyword would be "alytic" and not analytics. Just my point of view. If you decided to do so too what will be your keyword analytics?

Yes, although it's less obvious than Fitalytics it appears to be a combo of
'talent' or 'tally' and the word 'analytics'. I think most English speakers would see it that way.

By the way DNbolt, I don't think anyone is saying your analysis is not good. I think there is some merit in your analysis process. I think we are just saying we see the components of these two names differently than you. But there is no right or wrong here just a different point of view. This is one of the key aspects of brandables. They tend to be subjective so opinions will vary.

    Thanks for posting your analysis.

    Cheers!

    Keith

First off, I don't know if I would call this a trend.

I would not waste money on this.

There are so many better domains you could spend your money on.

Fair enough. Have you read about the analysis for revgrow(.)com from this link or would you say it's a possible waste of time too?

What is that, a take on revenue grow or growth?

I can't see too many companies jumping to buy this any time soon.

But you never know, I have seen some strange names sell.

When it comes to brandables you can never tell.

No, I was trying to explain the trend in some keyword e.g "rev" and others there were numerous sales that contain the keyword "rev" are you suggesting it's irrelevant?

I just did some research on "rev" as a part of a domain name or a keyword.

the letters "rev" are of course found in many domain names, but as a prefix or keyword I do not see the value in it.

Nothing I can find suggests to me this is a good investment.

    Sorry.

From a brandable point of view I look at smaller set of domains example 10 char domains that contains maybe the keyword "rev" then I do more analysis and would be left with 2-3 great domains which has been proven successful. I am not advocating that it would be the same for everyone else. The smaller char limit you choose the better result. But again I guess we all have different ways. So what's your way?

    Rev is meaningless.

Give it up and spend your money on some better domains you would have a chance to sell.

That's what you think from your own point of view which I appreciate but I am afraid it's not true according to my own performance. But yes it could be true for you.

I don't know what domains you see that you think are worth it.

Personally, I would never invest in brandables containing the term rev unless it made sense like for example:

    revstream.com (revenue stream)
    revmax.com (maximum revenue)
revplus.com (suggests something that might help increase a company's revenue)

If you PM me your name I will tell you what I think.

That is what I meant. Do you think I just grab random domain containing "rev"? My explanation was only in terms of sorting the list to a small number and determining each individually.
