Listen. I understand how hard it is to launch a Startup; I have launched a few myself. However, this is getting ridiculous. It has been promised that Bodis would have launched by now quite a few times.

I don't mean to be a dick and appreciate the all nighters Matt, but you guys really need to stick to your word.

Sincerely,
Ryan
They just shouldn't promise or speak about deadlines. The number rule in customer service is underpromise and then over deliver.

At the moment they are over promising and under delivering.

Here is a great idea for people who like to whine, complain, and moan.

GO BACK TO SEDO!

lol

I am also waiting for the launch.

But computer programming and engineering is not an easy task guys. Check out deadlines for famous engineering conferences of IEEE or ACM. There will be always 7-21 days postpone in almost all of them. There will be always some unexpected problems which handling cause some other unexpected problems.

Or you could sing "It's the final countdown" till tomorrow the 4th of July which would be a nice and easy date to remember as V2 Day

There is also the thought we all could of kept a domain or two with bodis and pulling all the others out and parking at an established site: with the anticipation of V2....knowing that nothing is instant or perfect right away but knowing there is hope that when all is finalized you are there to reap the benefits of being on the ground floor or knowing that u only lost a bit on a few doamins.

This is just an opinion...i have all my domains at bodis....i am just waiting.

Ouch. I'm one of the guys who said Matt should take all the time he needs to get it right. And he just might be doing that. So good luck man.

I personally wouldn't bother doing that. The launch day is near. It won't be long now. If you have pictures that need to be re-sized, that could keep you busy for a while, otherwise just enjoy your 4th of July! B-)

Happy 4th of July Matt,

Spend some time with family or friends today.
This is a day to reflect and respect. Go shake
hands and hand out some "Thank You"s to our
Veterans. ...... As we all should.

I think Meg said it best.
Take the time you need to get it right.

Thanks for all the hard work Matt.
I'm sure we will all see and appreciate
the results from your efforts.

Happy 4th

I can appreciate what a difficult task this has been. I remember when Matt first started talking about the industry needing an alternative - a better way to monetize our virtual property. To launch the service from scratch had to be tough - especially when your best efforts are met with tough competitors trying to stop you, and scam artists trying to rip you off. On top of that, Google wants to rent out all of the virtual property and continues to try and "own" everything domain.

I for one, want to say congratulations for your work so far and I am waiting patiently for your next upgrade. I still have quite a few domains parked there and my bet is on Bodis. Have a happy 4th, and keep up the good fight !

Regards,

Stan the Man

I don't have time to wade through 8 pages - can somebody succinctly tell me the advantages of Bodis 2.0 over the competition? I moved a lot of my names away from bodis when rev dropped to next to nothing but always hoped it would come back stronger

V2

Quite right.

Its not easy going into transition.
You have to make sure the program works on every browser and would show and look right. Especially, making sure the transition program would work with other flatforms ie. Html, Xhtml, Css, JavaScript, Dynamic Html, etc.

I'm sure Matt is working on the Server-Side Processing right now and making sure everything technical is being sorted out before Going Live on the Web!

Lets just get our fingers crossed that only the minor glitches would be needed fixin' when this V2 beast is finally unleashed! :hehe:

Could this be the day? As of 10:00pm EST, this is the first time that I have ever visited Bodis.com and the entire site was down. Maybe Matt is currently uploading version 2. That would be awesome. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hey Matt,

When you come up for air, we'd all love an update.

You've got many loyal supporters here and we'd love to hear any news whether it be good, bad, or in between.

It's cool to see how many people are supporting you and willing to patiently wait however long it takes. I count myself among that group.

Keep up the great work and drop a line when you can.

Thanks everyone for the support and I hope everyone had a good July 4th weekend so far.

Just like with the landing pages, I ran into a few problems when pushing the new Bodis.com to production. I am working on it every minute that I can. I will be able to open doors as soon as I get the technical problems out of the way which could be any minute.

Also, we installed a feed for international traffic. It mainly supports traffic from Europe. The results are pretty good. Definitely beats whatever we had so I am very happy that we will at least have very happy domainers. It is basically almost on the level we had with the Google feed, although only for some of the international countries.

I will have more of an update on that asap, first I am concentrating on getting Bodis.com out. Like I said - any minute.
