As long as I know, if you use Custom Keywords on BODIS then you must list at least 30 keywords there.

By listing less than 30 keywords, Bodis,com system can be forced to generate the remaining keywords automatically, which may be irrelevant and ultimately hurt your revenue.

It seems with 30 custom keywords, what shows on the screen (19 at a time) are all mine now, so thanks for that tip.

However, is there a way to see which keywords are getting clicked (and keep them on the screen)? Does the Bodis system automatically keep the keywords that get traffic on the main page, or do all the keywords rotate (in some fashion) no matter which keywords get traffic?

It would be great if the system tracked the keywords with the highest numbers of visits and permanently placed them on the parking page where they could be easily selected.

If others have screens like mine (shows 19 keywords at once), then we all lose revenue if the popular keywords are rotated off the screen.

First to Peter - payments have gone out on the 30th as usual, and it is showing me that you have received payment.

Verbster - How yehezkiel explained it is pretty much correct. We require more than 1 keyword as some templates were designed with many keywords in mind.

The keywords are sorted based on performance, but custom keywords are shown first, then the automatic keywords would be next. Both groups are sorted based on performance.

Eventually this will be merged and everything will be sorted based on performance.

Most of this will make more sense in the new UI that is still in development.

Hi,

I have some feedback about bodis:

1. Each time I visit the site I have to re-login. This is too tiresome. I'm using Chrome.

2. On the reporting page I can see the "visitors" column. But I'm now confused what this means. Shouldn't be there one column for impressions and another for clicks. I'm assuming multiple impressions from the same user count as one. Maybe this is why it is named as "visitors". I guess you only get paid for clicks and not impressions. So why aren't clicks shown?

3. On the reporting page I can see earnings but it would be nicer if there was another column for payments. Earnings would display the estimated earnings and payments would display how much of it was paid to you (and possibly when it was paid).

4. I'm confused about the custom images. I can still see a few images I added in 2008. However I can't find a way to add new images.

5. Some buttons are too hidden. I find myself searching for a button to click.

6. How does selling work? It looks like it doesn't work at all. On the home page when I click on a domain it says:

An Error Has Occured.
This is the buy domains tour page, which is currently unavailable. Bodis.com is currently open to only domain parking clients.

Maybe it is not the best thing to have something on the website that doesn't work yet.

I have a bitter taste about Bodis from 2007. Back then there was always some cool feature to be added and people kept waiting for that feature forever. This doesn't create a good user experience.

Not only for Bodis but for any website, it would be great not to create disappointments but to create unexpected surprises. In practice I think what this means is, it creates a better user experience to show feature when they are ready and not before that. I like Bodis but I don't like waiting for things. I wish Bodis would delight me once.

It was noted MANY times in the thread back then (and explained why) that:

1. clicks will not be shown
2. earnings show what you get; estimates are used only for the very first several days of parking,
3. adding custom images disabled long time ago
4. currently domain market place isnt working but domain inquiry feature is available
5. payments are net 30

I have received a payment just only USD 0.1*. Pay per click about $0.01-0.02. I think it is low income.

Statistics show that very little flow than other PPC.

I think we should improve the statistics of all. Optimize traffic and keywords. Explicitly told what percentage of our income.

I hope bodis.com better.

I think that still depends on the domains traffic and how you monetize the keywords.

Actually I found that my domains revenues increasing in the past few months with BODIS :tu:

BODIS pays new members 80% of the revenues, which is among the highest in the parking industry. And if you can bring in more value (means more traffic) they could consider to increase your revenue share.

To answer to Erdinc:

Yes most of your issues I am aware of and are all fixed in the upcoming UI which is still being worked on.

It will drop any reference to marketplace, it will have clicks and CTR, and will no longer have reference to custom images.

Your log in issue may be something different. Be sure you are accessing Bodis.com - Buy, Sell, and Park Domain Names and not the secure HTTPS version.

When you log in from the log in page be sure to check the Remember me check box.

So yes, there is still many issues here. But eventually this will all be fixed and many will be delighted and sooner or later forget about any past issues.

I won't say when, so that'll be your surprise.

I now have had my domains listed at Bodis for over two months. If I understand the payment system, there is no minimum on the payouts to Paypal. I have not received a payment yet so I am wondering if there is a trial period before a payment is paid out? The no minimum payout is a nice feature that made me consider Bodis. I hope this feature has not changed.
