latest changes made my revenue to fall down

Bodis last changes made my revenue decrease more than 2 times in my best domains, see an example for 2 of these domainsboth with international traffic)

Both of these domains have mostly type ins except domain1 where you pm'ed me about saying that it gets google search results that js made them drop in rank. I m very worried about this, even though you told me with pm that you corrected the js code i believe that still bodis has some problems with this "JS version of landing pages" and it doesnt count visits and clicks from many of my visitors.

If there was, it was fixed last night.

Right now code is executing without any errors.

Sure there might be less visitors counted as there are less computers with JavaScript enabled. I already reviewed your domain issue - and it was due to the Google search engine. PM me domain #2, it may be the same reason as domain #1.

If there'd be a bug where your average visitors would drop from 122 to 33, then I think I'd definitely notice. 10-15% is the more practical number due to JS tracking. But not 70%.

im seeing great results on bodis.. my rpm results has more then doubled compared to old feed and i think its mainly due to more advertisers off my top 2 names at bodis.

New numbers will be live going forward in 2 hours starting at midnight CST. Just wanted to say a few things here.

Most importantly, some people might see big changes in their revenue for tomorrow. Some domain names do A LOT better, others do WORSE, some are going to perform the same. Since we have revenue data from new upstream on a domain basis, we can now give you exactly what you deserved to earn. Before this, the system only estimated because we didn't have a domain breakdown of earnings. It was pretty accurate overall, but for some domains it either paid too little or too much.

I won't jump to conclusions, but overall adult will be paid a tad less. Financial will be paid A LOT more. I've had a financial domain that was getting 30 cents a click on the old estimate system, now is making $4 a click.

Finally, it is important to understand how the new CPC system will work. It will still give revenue based on estimates, but these estimates will be based on historical data handed down from new upstream for your very own domain, so you are getting within 1-2% of what you really made for the advertisers.

Now this is IMPORTANT: When new domains are brought over, the system will give revenue based on rough estimates of the keywords and visitor location. It will trend up or down from there a few days later once we get official data from new upstream so that the estimate system learns based on this data. So, this is important because, for example, if you bring over new financial domains, at first two days it may still do 30 cents a click, but on the third day once the system has data from the new upstream for the first 2 days, it gives you revenue based on those 2 days revenue, which may be $4 a click instead of 30 cents. So newly added domains will have very average earnings first 1-2 days for the time being as we collect data. 2nd or 3rd day will always be adjusted based on new upstream earnings and will always be on new upstream earnings from there. In the future we will change this to be more accurate for the first 1-2 days. But for now, this is how we and many other parking companies do it.

What I'd recommend is everyone to test their entire portfolio out after the new revenues go live this midnight. :tu: That'd be good for everyone involved lol.

If there are any questions, please let me know. I think this is going to be good as we now can accurately asses what your keywords are worth and re-adjust domain names, keywords, and domainers will be getting paid for traffic exactly how much the traffic is worth, no more, no less.

I'll be waiting to hear what the response is like in next few days to see how much it has adjusted for some, if at all.

Willen, you can still park at Bodis for the time being we allow banned domains, we just monetize it on our old feeds.

Thanks Matt in being up front on things and telling it how it is. Not many parking companies can do this.
Its an interesting way of reporting on new names but makes sense. First couple days sounds like a test for google And then the really true number is revealed after that. To early to judge on things for me but traffic is holding up for most part.

Thanks. Some people saw nice increases, it would depend on the domain names. But this is one of the advantages of working with our new upstream, that we can tell you exactly what your domains have made.

The industry is very complex, and that wasn't possible until now.

On a side note, templates are still in the works. We are going to launch with a few of them, hopefully with 4 of them, including 1 adult. I've seen a few and they are absolutely amazing and am very confident they will boost at least a few domains' revenue in every portfolio.
