I am going to tell you about a gigantic project going on in Abu Dhabi called Reem Island. This project is so huge 3 of the largest developers in the UAE(Tamouh, Sorouh, and Reem Investments) are building it. It is even bigger than The Pearl Qatar project that appeared in this forum last June.

- Reem Island is a combined residential, commercial and business project being built on a natural island off the coast of Abu Dhabi City and will be directly connected to Abu Dhabi City by a number of bridges. The location of Reem Island is only 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

- Reem Island will accomodate and estimated 280,000 residents. Some estimates go as high as 350,000!!

- Reem Island will contain Numerous hotels, resorts, beaches, spas, shopping malls, restaurants, medical clinics, many, many businesses, a 27 hole golf course, etc., etc.

- Just one of the business projects on Reem Island is Addax Port. By itself Addax is a massive port project which will contain 5 huge towers: an office tower and 4 other residential towers. And this is just one "small" part of Reem Island.

- Of course there will be tons of luxury condos and homes and villas, etc. to accomodate the huge number of residents of Reem Island.

- Reem Island will eventually be the "center" of Abu Dhabi which is the Richest of all the Emirates. Even richer than Dubai.

Of course you picked up some Reem Island names (I hope) but also consider the Bahrain Financial Harbour project I covered a few posts ago. It will be one of the financial centers of the ENTIRE WORLD. Also get some travel names for the region beacause the UAE will become one of the major tourist destinations of the world as the UAE Mega-Projects come to fruition. UAE Railway: New Mega-Project Covers ALL SEVEN Emirates!

The UAE unveiled a brand new Mega-Project called the UAE Railway on Oct. 30th. This is a very exciting project which will create a railway system that will LINK ALL SEVEN Emirates. This is a huge boon for UAE transportation.

The first phase of the project will focus mainly on creating an industrial railway. This rail system will be made up of cargo trains that will carry containers, dry bulk, cement, sand, rock, petro-chemical products, etc. It will take a huge burden off the crowded highways of the Emirates which are loaded down with trucks carrying these things. It will also speed up the transportation of these goods. This phase will take 5 years to complete.

A passenger railway will also be built which will be tremendous for travel among the Emirates.

MGM Mirage to Develop MGM Grand Abu Dhabi

Great News!! Yet another BIG NAME comes to Abu Dhabi! MGM Mirage and Mubadala Development of Abu Dhabi are teaming up to build a new Mega-Project called MGM Grand Abu Dhabi. The project, which will be a huge mixed use development, will take up 50 acres and be on the Abu Dhabi Waterfront.

Are Iraq Domains Worth A Gamble Now??

I know they are risky, certainly much more risky than UAE domains but Iraq is lauching a massive $18.3 Billion RECONSTRUCTION program and there will be much more to come. The war will not last forever. Iraq will be rebuilt. Perhaps registering a few choice Iraq domains could yield some nice profits down the line with a very small risk at only $7.00 for a hand reg.

It is extremely surprising that the Arab financed TV in Dubai would allow this to air. Be sure and watch this, it is so powerful I have no doubt she now has a very large price on her head. I also have no doubt it won't be on the air long.

This was a powerful video that I will pass on in some of my political threads. Emirates Airline of Dubai just announced that they have placed the largest order in civil aviation history:

- 120 Airbus 350s

- 11 A380s

- 12 Boeing 777-300ERs

Total cost = $34.9 Billion

These guys take thinking big to a whole new level! And, again, as I have been pointing out, UAE travel is in an incredible upward trend with no end in sight. As a matter of fact it is JUST BEGINNING!

It's risky!

In the past I own several TOP dubai domains and just like you I dream to make profits, well it was just an illusion, I've done all pro domainers should do to promote my domains (contact companies, ebay, NP....), according to market these premium worth thousands, after a year of marketing them, non of buyers was willing to spend several hundreds on each, I finally sold my entire portfolio for a price that was low compare to what it really worth.

So the Dubai stuff is not for me, I've also talk to many domain investors and they said that Dubai don't need websites (domain names) to promote Real estate or other attractions simply because all properties are sold before it can be listed on any websites and before building constructions starts. They also have their own property promoters and all buyers don't buy on internet, they go to the place (in dubai) to look at first before they make a decision.

This was my 2 cents.
