I just went over it. They should have passed the bill because the Border Patrol, who aren't Joe Biden friendly, supported it and said it would help right now. Trump is just using this to get elected. He doesn't really want to fix the issue. He was there 4 years, he could have gotten the wall built year one. He waited till the last year, knowing it would take more than a year, hoping it would carry him over another 4 years.

He was on TV after one of the school shootings, telling all the other members of Congress they were scared of the NRA, it was the one time Trump was making sense because he was agreeing with most of the common sense gun control measures.
