Am I the only one longing for the previous Moniker's control panel? I bet not.
yeah i have a couple hundred of these domains that do not show moniker as the registrar. i am messing around to see what i can do with them in the moniker control panel. so far i can unlock them and even renew them but you can't get auth codes, they give invalid ones that don't work. its very strange that i can unlock and renew a domain within moniker that isn't even really with moniker (all those random registrars reference [email protected]). i contacted snapnames several times and they seem to know very little. they don't have any timeframe on when these domains will be manageable on their side which is ridiculous. While I was on the phone I received 2 refund emails. But I did not see the refund in my account. Phillip stated that for some reason the refund went to another one of my accounts (this is an odd thing that happened with the new system...multiple accounts) So he is having to ask his supervisor to move the refund to the right account. Which for me is my only moniker account that I know of.
I have 7 other domains acquired through snapnames over the years. Only 2 show moniker, the rest strange registrars. So Phillip reiterated that any name not showing Moniker is somewhere else. I have already put in a ticket at snapnames to determine location so I can track down these names (which appear in my moniker account, but should not)...if that makes any sense.

Good suggestion, i think i will try to move out my domains although i just knew from google that the only way to use paypal is by prepaid fund which is $25 minimum. Why are you registering new domains at Moniker. You should go somewhere else for your new registrations. Moniker definitely going downhill. To the point I suspect they won't survive. Everyone is transferring their domains away from Moniker, if they can. Besides a request to pay by wire transfer for 1 new registration, says all you need to know about the new Moniker.

I think i will use name.com now.
Or what is your suggestion? I don't like to use GD as my main choice although i have some domains too there.
What if you prefer public whois? Private whois is a scheme to confuse the ownership of the domain. Also, some Registrars charge to forward emails in private whois. That is where they make their $$. What if you get an offer for a domains? You have to pay to view the email.Try namesilo. Lowest no-gimmick, no-coupon prices with things like whois privacy absolutely free with each registration.
Interface is simple and powerful and they have a lot of payment options.
May we say, Key Systems, the German company which bought Moniker, is going downhill? It would be a crime for Moniker to be cited, and Key Systems get off scott-free.Why are you registering new domains at Moniker. You should go somewhere else for your new registrations. Scarier still if the Registrar blocks the offer, and blocks your renewal in order to sell your domain itself. Lots of confusion with private whois. I am against private whois. Private whois is LESS secure, not MORE secure.
I have submitted 2 tickets myself. I have also called Moniker right when they opened this am and spent 45 minutes on the phone. I have (that I know of) 11 .de, 5 .us, 1 com, 1 co.uk missing from my account.
Extremely disturbing. The .com (which I acquired through snapnames 2 years ago) was in my moniker account a few days ago and needed to be renewed. Support claims that now this name will be managed by someone else as it was acquired through auction. So I was instructed to call Snapnames to see about that. I called them, but they have to figure it out where the domain is and get back to me. Oddly enough, all of the other domains acquired through snapnames.com auctions are in my account. What will be even more upsetting is if this .com ends up at network solutions or enom and then I will have to renew at some idiotic price.
I have 2 names showing as expiring (one today and another in a few days), even though I renewed them last month.
Maybe you're right. I wish it were true. Trustworthy Registrars are limited. They all seem to harvest better dot coms in behalf of Verisign! Call me old-fashioned, but I would not agree to these terms:All of which doesn't apply to namesilo. whois privacy is optional. They also offer free email forwarding. They make their money with registrations, not with addons.
You should really look into what you're talking about before making claims.

- https://www.namepros.com/threads/how-good-is-namesilo.719535/page-2#post-4338624There was an issue with one of my domains that a company felt violated their copyright. NameSilo sent me the DMCA complaintand disabled the domain without waiting for a reply, which I was upset about.
The domain didn't infringe and I will be moving my domains away from them!
I am here also very sad to the New Moniker...
I initiated to transfer my domain. 50usd.com, to moniker on May 29th, few days before they shut down the old moniker and launch the terrible new one.
As expected, Godaddy soon send me a mail to confirm that the domain has been transferred to moniker successfully.
However, the domain is NOT in my moniker account till today after 12 days! Whois search says it with Moniker, but NO registrant registration. https://whois.domaintools.com/50usd.com
I tried to contact moniker to fix this when the new site be online through it is online support ticket system. Now I have submitted 3 tickets already but NONE of moniker guy contact me give any response or fix this issue, except got 3 auto send mails from moniker to tell me that they have created a ticket number for this.
My 3 tickets No. are: 2014060310009814, 2014060510009132, 2014061010006385
I don't want to call their support number because of it cost me about $2 per minute for a international distant call (I am from China and the IDD call is stupid expensive), and I am sure I need to listen music in the telephone for 5 - 6 minutes before can speak to some live person.
Do anybody know is there a rep from Moniker in the forum? Or what else workable way I can try to find somebody from moniker to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
