Until now, all my domain sales has been inbound and direct auction sales. The reasons is because I have never been a fan of "Outbound" domain marketing. It's pretty odd for me sending emails to total strangers, asking them to buy my domain.
Then decided to try it this month, send few emails to relevant prospects. One replied, offered me $400 for my five letter hand registered domain that is about to expire. I countered with $1,400. Finally we agreed on $850 and completed the transaction same night. The whole thing took place last Saturday and the money got to my account yesterday.
Perhaps I should try it one more time?
