It was actually the first time I've done so and it worked perfectly in my favor.
I might if been minutes before but I contacted everyone who placed bids or sent me PM's and informed them I was doing so. One person purchased both domains at the bin which I placed slightly higher than all offers received.
4L .COM and 4L .NET (Chip).
Great tool to use in the final moments of a flippa auction.

So you messaged people and left a comment on the listing?

Flippa gives you the availability to contact all the people who placed bids on your auction directly as well as receiving offers from potential buyers.

Since so much has changed, I decided to give them a fair chance. I listed DevelopmentTools.com with them and will report my findings here. I will do my best to remain unbiased. :)

@FlippaDomains

See the listing, why did you list for 7 days? I thought 30 days was the best way to attract most bidders?

Speed is important. Curious to see how it performs. Couldn't care less if it sells. :)

I used to believe the same, and now I think it is too long. Data around this is really murky, because every asset and every seller is different. We allow for listings up to 30 days, but I personally recommend 7-21.

I understand, you find shorter listings work better?

Does 7-21 days help keep interest? Makes bidding more robust?

14 days is perfect for a personal or corporate decision.

I've never done a 7 day listing. :P

You would recommend 30 days for auctions?

What does @FlippaDomains recommend when listing multiple domains in the same listing? Is it best to put 1 premium domain in the tagline and say "includes 10 other domains" or just list it saying "11 premium domains" or something like that?

"Portfolio of X" - depending on what X is, whether quantity, niche, etc ...Our CS team can assist in changing your title.

I have a question. There is a no-reserve auction currently running on Flippa. I know someone that I'm 90% sure would be ready to buy this domain at much more than what the auction will probably end at.

Can I possibly buy the domain for him on Flippa and then start a broker escrow transaction with the buyer and the seller, so I can get a "commission"?

I know it's weird, but is it technically possible? Do you have a suggestion for me?

I would recommend you reach out to the seller to get permission to broker on his/her behalf.

Ok I'll try to check with the seller if we can work something out.

By the way, can you check my 2 last messages in my ticket #272758?

Thanks.

By title you mean Domain/URL field?

If I do a portfolio listing with domains I already have listed at Flippa should I remove or keep those domains lists? It looks like once you remove a domain you can't add back to marketplace.

There are no longer images / logos on the main results page.

If I understand your question correctly, it sounds like you want to post at auction a portfolio for sale - but the individual domains are listed in your (non-auction) portfolio as well.

You only need to remove these listings if and when they sell.

Once you remove a domain, you can absolutely add it back to the marketplace -- what gave you the idea you could not? If unclear, please reach out to our staff via [email protected]

@Jen-Sin Amount of followers on your account? I see lots of sellers with 100+ begin to pick up more traction. I recommend you send potential buyers links to your auctions or non-auction / portfolio listings and focus on outbound marketing efforts to increase followers. I also hope we as a platform can make it easier to 'watch' a seller (or follow them) and create more public links to everyone's portfolio, if they opt-in to have one (they can also keep their public URL quiet).

Is there a section on Flippa that will allow you to see how many people are watching someone's account or who exactly is watching someone's account?

As for the "who exactly" - no.

As for the counter, yes. That used to be part of one's dashboard, however there was a recent change that hid this counter. We're working on restoring it and making broader improvements, as Account Watchers (really seen as "Followers") are a major metric into one's account "health" and is generally a correlation to more sales. Inventory and pricing dependent, of course.

There are still logos in the main domain page. Bad to hear, anyway.

@FlippaDomains ,

Thanks for the great info so far.

Is there any way to see most active sellers?
