question Alternatives to Escrow.com?

I noticed today upon logging into my escrow.com account that they are now requiring that all customers provide them with copies of government issued ID's. I'm not interested in trusting these people to securely store documents that could be used to steal my identity especially since they're now a foreign-owned company and also because they no longer seem terribly on the ball. Anyone have experience with some of the alternatives?

I know that snapnames and sedo offer escrow, but I've never tried either of them. Are they any good? Any other recommendations? Thanks.

On the other hand, I just completed my first sales on Sedo - and it was great!
Two day - 2 days! - from the time of sale until the money was in my Paypal account. Very Impressive.

Just tried to get verified with Escrow.com. It works in tiers now so basically first tier is providing your date of birth up to 3K. Anything above that is a huge cluster drivers ID or passport, utilities statement to verify address, official corporation document in good standing. It's a huge hassle - Anyone know if the buyer needs to just through this cluster to get their money (above 3K)

Time to move on from Escrow.com - They are dead.

After this verification crap Escrow.com started to show Payoneer ACH account info as unverified as it is not under my name. Will it cause a problem? Any experience?

I Lost the deal high XXX , after sending outbound, research, negotiating, agreeing. There comes a nightmare escrow.com throwing my deal away due to some crap buyer verification system. The reason they not approving the payment because they want the address in paypal and escrow match...first they told me the buyer is already verfied and now they giving me all this.seriously buyer lost interest with the procedure and stop responding and i lose the deal...Good bye escrow.com

Most of my sales are from end users, can you please suggest me the best escrow service which will fulfill this needs

What is the minimum and maximum transaction amount?
There is no minimum or maximum amount, but we will charge a $75 minimum escrow fee per transaction. Thus, the lower value sales are better handled by the Epik Marketplace.

Epik.com is the absolute best escrow service. Their escrow is 100% free and you only pay 5% of what you take out of your account. I used their services once for a 1k domain sale and it took 24 hours total.

Before I used them I was skeptical so I called their customer support and they answered all my questions very professionally. Then I was sold.

Highly recommended them.

@Epik.com would you like to chime in? I recently used your service for XRJobs.com and I was impressed particularly with the speed.

If you are in the US and have direct bank transfer the fee is $10. If you are converting the funds to a local currency there is an approximate 2% fee.

This only tells you the good side. If the buyer is not from US, they can pay by credit card up to $2000. With no way to make a purchase over this amount. No wire transfers for overseas buyers. It's an awful burden. And needs top priority to address this limitation.

Can’t use Payoneer if you are in certain states. Escrow is a nightmare but have limited options to close a deal quickly and make the buyer comfortable. End user might not be comfortable with random marketplaces. Other domainers no problem.
