Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Saunas are too small to "explore". Home saunas are usually the size of a walk-in closet or two so there's little need for a VR showcase. Plus homes are usually pre-bult with saunas in them - at least in Europe - so a showcase would for the whole house, not just the sauna alone.

Not much use for VR other than say a virtual sauna to socialize in, because no one is going to wear a HMD in a REAL sauna lol. But even the idea of a virtual sauna is ridiculous. It doesn't even serve well as a brandable IMO, but that's just MO.

The thing is about the future nobody knows for sure what's going to happen.

Thanks @alcy for the recent 4 x VR.Club sale as these go into my VR vault for the future...

VR .Club Domains

VRCar
VRShopping
VRTravel
VRVideo

I'm not encouraging anyone to purchase .Club as I haven't had any interest in any of them at present. This is one of the nGTLDs I'm taking a future risk on and I have a decent VR+Keyword .Club portfolio for a future package deal as I believe there may be great future potential. .Com is King

Some of my favs VRNight , VRMusic , VRHealth , VRSocial VRSports VRGaming & VRCasino .Club

Show attachment 29499

I do have some VR + Keyword .com pending into my account :)

Bro, I have no shame in owning VRCam and VRCams dot Club. I got them when I saw S**Cam dot club sold for over $4k. Let's see if my 4 dollars go to waste lol...

Dot club is already the most valuable nGTLD with dozens of 4 and 5 digit sales, but by the time VR is in full swing in 5 years, dot club will have more recognition and could increase even more in value.

Those are some nice domains you've got there. If you've got VRSports and VRCasino dot club you should have a nice payday coming.

Lol nice find and yes I hope the naysayers will calm down a bit and remember anything is possible in VR.

However I think you would get more money selling to a sauna manufacturer than a sauna sim dev.

Talk about crazy I recently turned down a very high $ X, XXX for my 360vrgear in the king of domains.

That's weird as i had an offer the other day on 360vrpoker . com ................ wonder if it was the same person trying to buy up 360vr names ??? it wasn't as high as your's but never the less strange coincidence ...

for sure. anything possible. anything will have some chance to sell in VR.
but I think the conversation here was about relative values.
so some keywords will always have more value than others etc..
VRsex>vrsauna>vrpotato.......etc etc etc

No I think the conversation started when someone said VR Sauna was pointless and it was probably a fake offer. Someone just posted a video of a Sauna Simulator, thus proving a VR sauna domain can't be completely pointless in like Week 3 of VR?

I wonder what the future holds for Sauna "gameplay" or product advertising in Year 2 of VR.

Hmm....

Give it time guys, you will see some crazy things happening in VR.

:xf.wink:

oh ok. well I won't speak for others.. but when I wrote about his vr sauna offer.. I said the price seemed good to me for it. so to me it was abotu value.. then we started talking about sauna and vr uses.

anyway.. without knowing abotu vr future, we can still place at least relative values on domains... bigger smaller <> like I just did.

for many vr domains. rest is uncharted territory.

yes. I agree.it's been around.
I meant a domain name that contains both 360+vr+keyword.. like the one he posted..
let's see where 360 goes with that then
some people invested some money in 360+vr doamins I think on this thread.

Judging on that Namebio link. Seems like the "safe bet" would be Keyword+360.com? not thee other way around +VR?

seems "whatever" with 360 at the end is a safer investment than thee other way around.

kinda like how VR can be used for "Vacation Rentals" so long as the keyword is in front and is a Geo or real estate related and you slap a VR at thee end?

doesn't seem to be any historical LARGE sales where the 360 is in front because it just sounds "natural" to say. blah blah 360.com. instead of 360 blah blah.com yes or no?

by the way. accidentally found out thee other day that.

VR can also mean Vocational Rehabilitation.

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=vr+vocational+rehabilitation

so if anyone has some kind of therapy related VR domain. you might have gotten yet another USE for VR to sell your domain investor buyer on.

GL.

Immersive Virtual Reality Experience

As domainers we are quick to devalue non .com's. After doing some research i noticed maker studios is using maker.tv. Disney bought them out for around $200 million. If you go to maker.com it takes you too makers.com which is owned by AOL. B-)
