Yes. Mine have taken 4-6 weeks from initial reviewing to publishing on the site.

Use this time to get a few hundred votes in so you won't have to pay the $10 listing fee.

Thanks baldonius for the tip. I will start voting tonight!

Mine were just listed. Time from submission to actually being listed on the website 8 weeks, 3 days.

Yeah I got listed today too. WORST LOGO but we'll see if it makes a difference.

I agree. I chose $100 for both names selected. I've seen better work on $10 logo contests.

Wow. 8 weeks, and finally approved. Mine already 6 weeks, need another 2 weeks just to know if its pass/fail.

Btw beezy, when did you submit your domain?

It's not good for me. I have submitted 10's domains, all .com but no response as on date. I take this in good way as either they have got too much inventory to sell or much preoccupied with listed one.

Hi,

The Review Cycle appears to be date driven based on Submit date.

The oldest Submit date I have that is "Pending Review" is 03/01/2015 (45 days) as of today.

What is your oldest Submit date that is "Pending Review" as of today?

From what I have observed...
Over the past 6 months the process has been linear and has been a revolving 45-50 day cycle from the Submit date.

I just had a group of logos cleared out from backlog... the last logo completed on Sunday 12th (2 days ago) from my prior "Accept" batch.

I anticipate we should see a Review Cycle this Thursday/Friday on BrandBucket or sometime close to those dates. The trend has consistently been as a Logo Queue "clean-up" process is completed, it is immediately followed by another Review Cycle.

So... every time I see my Logo Queue "cleaned-up"... I start voting to build up Credits, get ready for another Review Cycle email... and sure enough... it shows up within 5-7 days later... and the cycle starts again.
I hope the overview is helpful...

-Jim

Thanks Jim, this year I have seen names reviewed around 4-5 weeks, usually if I submit say on 2nd Feb it will be reviewed on 2nd March. It has appeared to follow this pattern.

Good luck with your sales.

After 40 days BB accepted my domain. I only sent 3 until now, 2 were rejected. That is my first domain there.

Hi NPs,

It must be beginners luck. Less then 2 weeks after listing I have been informed that my domain was sold. I do not want to jinx it so you will hear more info after all is finished and I have funds in my bank.

Just wanted to share to elevate your spirits.

I've tried a few brand marketplace platforms and all around I've had the best experience with BB. They give an immediate email confirmation when I submit. Then I wait of 4-5 weeks for my DNs to get reviewed. After acceptance I find they go live after 10 to 14 days. BB gives email notifications at every step of the way and I like that. Very professional compared to the others I've tried.

So their review wait is longer than some other platforms but they make up for it in other areas in my opinion. And the review wait is more understandable when you know see their submission rates. As of mid 2013 they were getting 400+ submissions per week and their acceptance rate was around 8%. By the Fall 2014 they were accepting 20% of the more than 500 DNs submitted each week. As a result they have expanded their inventory over the past year which is good for customers and should be good for BB's bottom line too.

How that effects our bottom line as sellers remains to be seen. I think the startup business is peaking now with venture capital spending at its highest levels since 2008. So the good times are rolling and BB is gearing up in the hopes of re-establishing dominance in the industry now that they have so many competitors. The main problem I see is that the stock market's 7 year bull run is not sustainable and I don't know how hard it's going to fall and what that inevitable bear market is going to do to the rate of new startups and our precious niche marketplace(s). Time will tell.

Hi Bradbucket experts,

Is it just me seeing this? I am watching branbucket closely and it seems to me that in past couple of weeks new items listed there are appraised for much higher then before. Of course some names are obviously good but others .... well I do not see it. What is the opinion on prices recently submitted domains?

BTW: When did you submit is the most current domain which already went through review?

I agree. They've stepped up their pricing. What I've noticed is that a higher percentage of their accepted domains are above the $2,000 avg sale mark. I think they are seeing a trend and are pricing what they see the market will now bear.

I've definitely noticed higher values on average on the past week's listings. I wonder though if those all could have been batched together because they are higher priced.

It seems now that they are doing a review sweep of 9-10 days worth of submissions at a time. So I would guess the next sweep would go from March 10th to March 19th/20th. Then there may be a wait for a few weeks, and then another review of the 9-10 days. This may be totally wrong, but it is what I have observed from the last few cycles.

My experience is that both of my previous reviews were done on Friday, so I have assumed they go once a week or maybe 14 days. But lack data does not allow to run in depth analysis :)
