A simple yet basic question. Most of us have put our heart and soul into Domaining. Can you answer why you like Domaining in just one sentence ?

" I like Domaining because it excites me, makes me independent and keeps me going on "

I think domaining is good. First of all, if you do it right - it can be rewarding. Above all, it keeps your brains running and enterpreneurship alive. Almost every name has a business idea behind it and one idea leads to another idea. There are as many ideas of business as the names are. We come across issues in our daily life and you immediately think of a solution and many times you end up searching if the name is available. Even you do not pursue the idea yourself, there is someone else who is thinking of same solution/idea and can come to you for buying the name. So this is how you turn your daily happenings into a profitable venture. What is important while domaning is you should relate a name to your daily life and you will find it much for useful.

Gotta say that I do domains for one reason and for one reason only: for the love of (English) language, more specifically words. It's a word game for me, and like magic, it takes into consideration all aspects of general linguistics: phonetics, semantics, pragmatics, grammar... Making money with it is a sweet, sweet bonus.

I don't like domaining fully. I don't like the searching, and the scouting and roaming through the drop stacks and the forums. But I do like it when I get offers and the selling part. The agreement on the price and the closing of the escrow are the parts I like. Love it, when I get checks in the mail.

Although I have just started investing in domains, I like it mainly for three reasons:

1. The Money
2. The education I get from it (the researching part where I learn about future trends and technologies)
