Whois not updating for drop names?

Whois not updating for drop names? Anyone noticed that yesterday's dropped and registered names aren't updated? Even internic.net shows the old registrars (pre-drop).

whois takes time and is not real time. However using the Internic tool you can find out the registrar and use the whois provided by that registrar on their site.

Yes whois data is not real time, but the problem is even the registrar data in internic.net is not updated for yesterday's drop snaps, not talking about details like registrant name or expiry dates.
