Hey,
I noticed some strange behaviour for some TLDs where domains go through the normal expiration cycle, but on drop go to a RESERVED status.
I saw this now on two different TLDs - common thing between them is that both use CentralNic as registry-backend.
Example 1: owx.pw
Domain was dropped on 2017-12-21 and eversince whois says:
When checking via EPP, "in use" is returned.
According to different registrars, the domain is not a registry premium domain.
Also, other 3L domains where dropped around the same time and are free and available for registration (e.g. sno.pw)
Example 2: aib.xyz (dropped today)
Rest is the same. Also doesn't look like a premium domain to me.
So, anyone has any idea why those domains got reserved but others not?
Why are they doing that?
