Help! Domain just dropped, yet unregistrable??

I backordered a .org domain at several backordering services and it has dropped as the whois info shows that no domain is registered under that name. I tried regging the name with moniker but it says it's taken and whois shows empty?? how come the drop catchers are not getting it and why can't I reg it? thanks a lot!

I've had them turn up as a completed transaction 2-3 weeks later. Beaureaucratic redtape on the web, I reckon.
