Redemption Period ... when will it drop ?

Hi all,

This is not the first I'm willing to get a domain that is going to drop.

But I never know when they drop !

The domain I'm looking at shows this in the whois :

Registrar: NAMEBAY
Status: REDEMPTIONPERIOD
Expiration Date: 09-aug-2004

Does anyone know when It will be able to reg it again ?

Mostly, I watch for the update to the "Pending Delete" process there in WhoIs, IMHO.

A domain "drops" six (6) days after the "Pending Delete" cycle begins, which comes approximately 30 days after the "Redemption Period" (RGP) begins. Don't confuse the expiration date with the drop date ... two different animals ... and there's a whole process that begins after the "Expiration date" (as stated in WhoIs).
