Hi there,

after the penguin update I'm once again rebuilding new sites for the sites that I've lost,
I used new domains for this, However i'm planning to make a new venture and i wan't to build new sites using either an old aged or high pr domains.
My only problem is that i don't know which is best, Aged domain or high pr domain?
Can you please help me with this?
Where can i buy good aged domain or high pr domain?

I've been there, got impact from those lovely animals for my primary business sites. But I'd rather to buy new domain and start from the scratch with more carefully in link building.

But it you want to buy old domain, choose one with PR and strong backlink background. And yes those very expensive.

If I had to pick between aged and high PR, I'd pick aged. It's easier to get PR than it is to wait for a domain to get older.

Aged domains are good for SEO. A high quality aged domain will tend to rank quicker for keywords because it should already be trusted by Google.

If the domain has PR that is a bonus, because you have to remember that PR can go down but the age of the domain can only get older.

Just remember to check that the domain has not been deindexed from Google at any time and that any back links that it still has are from good websites.

I tend to agree that "aged" domains get that "trusted" value from the se`s, not only with google, as long as its never hit a blacklist...spend 5 minutes researching the domain history and save yourself any future headaches...

Everyone seems to think the aged Domain is better but I tend to think the other way. Having a high PR will increase the profit that could be made from the domain name thus giving it more value. Google themselves have stated that the age of a Domain has very little to do with SEO anymore. I have ranked PR3 and got on the first page of Google in 3 months of backlinking on High Competitive keywords and some of my competitors Domains where over 3 years old. Domains don't get trusted just because of there age, there are a lot more important factors involved.

Aged domain are better for sure!
google PR have less and less impact on site ranking,
each google algorithm reflects less count for google PR
