Unstoppable Domains โ€” Expired Auctions

Where to sell your domains

hello! folks, this is Juan and i am new to the domaining business. so ive been reading some books, and they told me that sedo.com is the largest marketplace to sell your domains.
but just yesterday i found a post in internet for a domaining business guy that he is in the business from 2002. And he said in his article that he use to put his domains for selling in sedo.com but this website send his sellings to godaddy auctions without his permission and for minimum auction price of 500 dollars, but he ususally sells his domains for not less than 1500. so he remarks that when prospective buyers realize of the real price of his domains they get very upset with the issue.
So my question is: the best place to sell your domains is ebay.com?

thanks

The Sedo/GoDaddy partnership has been terminated. This can't happen anymore.

Please be careful about what you read and hear. The business is much more difficult than it sounds.

Hi
I cut your post up some, just to highlight what 'sdsinc' is saying below.

Please be careful about what you read and hear. The business is much more difficult than it sounds.

so true, particularly now for newbies:

.the side-shows of enlightenment, ie: books, articles, videos, webinars, etc, etc are too much for majority to absorb, without becoming overwhelmed by some phrase or personality along the way.
and again, majority of these 'media' pubs, are or become, profit centers and or sources of income for the producers.

I know you're trying to learn, but just 'notice' where you fit, in the puzzle of the game.

confusion, has to be, so that some can publish about clarity, while the beat goes on.

:)

but to answer question, sedo has been good to me
as well as incoming email and phone offers.
if you have good domains, then eventually offers will come.

if you never get offers, then ....

Good Luck!

imo...

2nd that! It's just those sales charts that boost people's dreams! the reality is...unfortunately...very different!

I list my domains on Sedo, Afternic, GoDaddy, own websites. GoDaddy has been the most successful platform for me. YMMV.
