OVER 3000 Domains to sell .. ZERO CLUE

So a friend of a good friend of mine has asked me to "help" him sell off his domain portfolio containing roughly 3500 domains. So far all I've managed to do is organize the 1000 domains he has with GoDaddy, and list a few of the best on Sedo, Afternic and Flippa. But as far as actually finding buyers, end users or dealing with the immensity of his collection .. I'm lost and overwhelmed to say the least.

Why Afternic instead of Sedo? I ran a google trends on it and it doesn't look like Afternic gets much traffic:

Because Afternic is owned by GoDaddy, and whatever you put on Afternic gets exposure on GoDaddy and lots of other places. If I was only going to use 1 marketplace, I would pick Afternic.

Afternic have partnership hell of domain registrar, once listed you domain available to people searching on godaddy, name.com etc

Just list all 3500 domains in Afternic, it take just an hour and sit tight. sure couple of them will sell in a month, keep the price buy now $1000 or below

When did domaining become such an easy thing?

Is it look easy?, the tough part is selecting & registering 3000 domain, he/she could have spent lot of time. Listing and waiting for sale don't need to tough rather its a waiting game.
