When to place a backorder for an expiring domain?

I'm keeping an eye on a domain that is expiring soon (if the owner doesn't renew it, but he doesn't have much time) and I would really like to acquire it.

My question is: When should I backorder it? Before it expires or after? I know that when a domain expires, it is then in the redemption period which lasts 30 days. So if backorders are placed during the redemtion period, when would be the best time to place it? Right the first day of the redemtion period?

Anyone could give me an advice? :(

The domain expires soon and I really would like to acquire it. Also, it is likely that the owner won't renew it, because if he would, he would already have done it (IMO, as it's too late now and it seems like has forgotten to renew).

So just please tell me guys when is the best time to backorder a domain? Anytime during the redemtion period? Or, as soon as possible and even before the redemption period starts (= before the domain expires)?

Can you post the whois output, or at least registrar, extension, name servers, domain status, last updated etc.

Domain Status: Registered And Active Website
The domain is still registered (and it is parked), but it expires in a few days (of course if the owner doesn't renew it).

Any chance it's with godaddy? Since if it is, it'll go to TDNAM auctions before it drops.

It didn't drop, the owner renewed it the last day and it wasn't with Godaddy.
