Hi guys...

Let's play a small game. There are 3 questions each of us answer:

1) What is your best domain?
2) How much do you think it is worth?
3) Why do you think it would fetch you that amount?

The idea here is to remove the biases that we all have towards the domain name that we own.
I have been overly optimistic about many of the domain names that I owned, and that gives a false picture when we approach an end user or an end user approaches us. Ultimately, we end up losing a sale which could have fetched up, say mid xxx to low xxxx or maybe more.

So yeah, lets go ahead! Be a sport! Participate! And let's learn together!

Well I don't think this name is a "category killer" because I've never heard of the category "ai assistance". These services are always named after first names or short catchy names. The category killer names are probably John.com or Mary.com, not AIAssistant.com.

John.com and Mary.com are not category killer names. They are ultra premium first name domains.

Both are in the Given Name category. They do not categorize a product or service. You don't seem to understand the term "Category Killer".

It's absurd that you think just because you've never heard of Ai Assistants the domain AiAssistant.com can't be a categorically killer domain.......that's actually the most ridiculous thing I've heard this week hahah:ROFL:.

Anyways, it's time you stop making this your own personal appraisal thread critiquing everyone's domains without actually having logical input. I will be reporting further comments you make that go against the premise of the thread. I will also be reporting my previous comments responding to you, thread needs to be cleaned up.

John.com, Mary.com, these are the types of names actually used in that industry, not names like AIAssistannt.com, there is nobody in that industry who want to use this name so how can it be a category killer? What category is that name going to kill by someone using it?

Category killer means,

"a large store, typically one of a chain, which specializes in a particular type of discounted merchandise and becomes the dominant retailer in that category."

Nobody is ever going to become dominant using a name like aiassiatnt.com, it's all wrong. Next you tell us with bankaccount.com you could become the world biggest bank. It is a nonsense that you are saying, almost a fart.

Thanks John.

I agree sone will use first names and it's a wise move as well :).
As I have mentioned the name is what's Ai is all about for many so companies will want to brand around it as there is only one AiAssistant (.)com ,and others will surely want to own it without using it as a brand name .

Many thanks for your comments!

Yep this has quickly turned into a “show off your name, say it’s worth a crazy price and argue with/report anyone who doesn’t agree”.

Thanks for bringing the thread back to reality llama, even if it only lasts a couple of posts.

- highest possible number (21) of "top" in a domain (without the TLD)
- highest possible number of characters (63) in a domain (without the TLD)
- highest possible TLD (".top")

#2
It worths more than any other domain name and more than all other domain names togetherrr
- more than ttt... ...tttop.top / tooo... ...ooop.top / toppp... ...ppp.top
- more than google.com / amazon.com / apple.com / microsoft.com / facebook.com /... / abc.xyz
- more than all these and all other domain names together

#3
Because it has this valueee
- it is untoppable (it is only "toppable" with subdomains - but to reach the highest possible number of "top" in a domain name that includes subdomains, you need this domain name)
- UHNWIs are permanently searching for ways how they can spend / invest their wealth

- it is the highest art / virtual status symbol and it is only created for those who can (try to) buy it / own it / sell it

ToHost.com
Mid 5 figures
I think it's a short catchy name, "host" is one of the most valuable keyword these days.

You posted the definition of a category killer retailer, which is entirely different to that of a category killer domain 😁, in this case Google is not your friend, keyboard warrior.

Given names can be branded as AI but at the same time they can be used for anything because they aren't all encompassing descriptors for a good or service.

You ask questions that have overwhelmingly obvious answers.

How do you know there is no one the industry that would want to use the domain? Are you magically associated with all the industry players? Do you know every senior exective working in the AI assistance industry by name? Your arrogance is astounding .

BankAccount.com is not a category killer domain in the Banking niche. Banking.com or Bank.com are the killers. You don't seem to get it.

Don't believe in your own ignorance. That will always lead to failure. It will also lead to you embarrassing yourself on a public forum.

I won't be replying to anymore. Thread needs cleaning.

Tbh i regret posting mine (i don’t usually post in these types of threads).

You always get one who criticizes someone’s investments, along with typing the domain out in full (so forever shows up on search results), so in a way sort of devaluing it.

I think there should be a rule against that personally or at least let the owner of a domain who this happens to have their domain censored out if they wish should that happen. I’ve had it done to me before, someone typing a domain i own in full along with negative comments, requested NamePros admin to censor my domain and they wouldn’t because only a person who posted can request their post to be edited.

I personally never type a domain i don't own out in full as respect to the person that owns it.

Plenty of reasons.
Distracting with writing style which is difficult to read.
Explaining and defending crappy name and that too in a poor way.
And goes on...

Hope you'll be professional and try to do basics right.

And yeah... you're too free to dis/like whatever you want!

Thanks for your replyyy

I still don't understand how one can call this domain name crappyyy
Especially how you as pro came to this twisted conclusionnn
I mean, you are in the domaining business since more than a decadeee
You should know it betterrr
I am very surprised about your viewww

But I have hopeee
I am sure, you will understand the immense value of this domain name in futureee
Also if it will need another decadeee

I (always) explaine/d this domain name in a very clear wayyy
This domain name is based on undeniable semantical and mathematical factsss
It has nothing to do with my writing styleee

Another point is, your reply made the domain another time
again just (a bit) more valuableee
No matter the fact how "negative" you describe/d ittt
In reality it doesn't make any difference if the opinion that someone has about this domain name is "positive" or "negative" - simply because it remains untoppableee

I made everything righttt
You can believe me, I am
not coincidently the owner of this domain nameee
I believe this domain name will be bought by a chinese billionaireee

Latest then you will understand hahaahaaa

They haven't bought it and it is not a good domain, it is reg fee value or less. If people want to buy names like that they have little chance of making money because the companies in that industry do not brand in that way. The name needs to be memorable, aiassistant.com isn't.

Constantly asking for critical posts to be removed is missing the point of the thread entirely, the purpose is stated by the OP below, it is to give feedback, remove owner biases and make sure people aren't overpricing names, this results in potential 3-4 figure sales being lost. If the owner wants to ever sell aiassistant.com they need to be realistic about the price and the very low chance of it selling even at say 3 figures, not "mid 5 figures and up".

Who would be the obvious buyers for a name like that? Very low chance of ever selling this especially as an ntld, price low.
