I have some domains that should be mini-sites with adsense and not parked because they would rank very well in Google if they were an actual website - however I am not a programmer and have no design skills whatsoever, and the names are not good enough (wont get enough traffic) to make it worth my while to pay somebody to design and program each site, not to mention paying somebody to come up with the content.

So what are my options? I know there are some companies who offer mini-sites but do they show up in Google or does Google ban them the same as a Parked.com page? If they don't ban some, which ones? What about other options such as using my own adsense or affiliate ads and not the feed of a parking company?

Thanks for any info, experience or referrals.

Companies like Whypark and Noomle offer the ease of instant mini-sites with no programming required. They will get indexed in Google, I think Google recognizes the nameservers and may even know its a mini-site but certainly sees that in higher regard than a parked page. Noomle works with your own adsense code.
Hope that helps.

I was in your situation couple years ago

you just need to learn a little basic html/css so you can have control of your websites

you have the option to learn basic html/css or buy software

I have sites on page one of google but there is more to it than that

if you have cpanel hosting account then I will recommend to use wordpress or other free CMS for mini-site
- easy to install
- easy to add contents so that you can expand in future
- lots of plugins available to do different sort of things

Other option will be to use services like weebly.com where you can drag and drop and make websites
- you can use your own domain name with free hosting they only add their name at the footer

I've been owning domains and websites since 2005. Trust me, I'm just one of those people who has no aptitude for coding whatsoever, have to have people do everything for me - took me until about a year ago to even be able to manage my domains and nameservers for myself.

How do you insert banners and adsense or affiliate ads into a wordpress site? Is that custom code or a plug in or built into the backend or what? I'm running several Wordpress sites now (not mini-sites, full websites) and I've never come across anything in the backend that has anything to do with advertising.

Assuming I could easily and cheaply find good templates and solve this advertising problem, Wordpress would be a solid route. Its built really well for Google, especially if you use Google friendly URL strings - pages rank super fast.

Thanks. Has anybody ever had a problem with their sites getting indexed with either one of these companies? Any reason to choose one over the other? Are there other options besides these two? Remember my main concern is the ability to get indexed in Google.

Yeah, I 'built' 5 sites yesterday, purchased one hosting account on ipower.com, pointed 10 domains to the account, built 5 unique web sites using their built-in menu system.

The best solution is to trade (if you dont wanna buy service) trade a stuff you own for a small job of doing a mini niche site... anyway, doing niche sites is a piece of cake if you will exert a lil effort of learning to do what really are automated processes.
