Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

I might ask if you are going to dev it in any way if yours.

I will say that I did look at that 3DVR listing 5 years ago when I was buying similar names.
I did buy the 3dvr / vr3d in.xxx at sunrise for the registry.

Interesting article, thanks VRPerception. I'm hopeful that more rich content arrives soon, and that new players are just letting the initial roll out occur before coming to market to fill the gaps. Makes sense, let others make the mistakes, and observe what was successfull.

It will be most interesting to see how the various consoles, headsets, etc. pan out with mobile devices sure to shake things up. If Google gets in the game.....? Exciting times.

It's about right tbh, mobiles was around early 90's. Not everyone had one though because they couldn't afford them, was around 1999 prices started to come down and people started getting them.

True, but imo the "tech" landscape was somewhat different. Now people have exposure to HD, 3D, mobile projectors, high end computers in the palm of their hands.

There's nothing stopping firmware updates and killer games and apps from really pushing the current experience forward with existing hardware. Enter, new players, and ....

I think it's going to be exponential. But could fizzle with some lulls who knows...

I can "bodykit" fitting in nicely in there. Not just Cars.

There is a scuba suit maker called Body Glove? To give you proof of concept. Hope that helps.
