Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

They've also been saying that Apple is working on ditching phones all together, replacing it entirely with immersive technology...

here is my final showcase of VR handregs.. bout 50 of them
was lucky enough to get on the $2 promo few days ago
so this is obviously a win win deal at just over $100 for me

maybe u get few reg ideas from it also...

I still hope to get some brainstorm reg ideas at rate of 1-2 per month maybe.. but I'm essentially all done regging VR.. it's been good fun.

yes... hehe..but there is more to it than being fan. there is also followign trends.. watching sales so far.. just my 2 cents. opinion, not fact.

yeah.. I know what your saying about personal preference. especially for a niche that's not fully here yet.. however I am still of opinion that despite it not being fully here yet, there is still already data available from past sales etc.. and from that data.. some trends can be established..

so that's all Im doing. trying to eastablish trends and patterns based on past data.. plus intution... but I agree, these trends and patterns could all fall in future! it's possible. but imo it will stay similar trend/pattern wise.

Congrats on your first "proper" VR sale - Nicely done!

(Given valuations on quality kw+VR names as they stand right now, IMO you might of swung this one up maybe into 4 figures (top of sweet spot...), but I think all-in-all this sale is quite respectable... This said, VR is going to be huge in treatment/therapy in the future (already being used by military for traumatic stress, etc...), so don't be surprised if you see this one pop up again in 2020 in the high - $$$$ range... But as they say, "money in the the hand vs. bird in the bush..." As always, JMHO...)

i think it can be flipped again for sure but im okay with the roi for hand reg and move on ,as you say money in the hand
100% agree vr is going to be huge in therapy/treatment but vr is going to be huge in (enter keyword here) so hopefully plenty more opportunities

I'm also after re-reducing some of my VR names today to $999 from $1,999. One sale pays for the rest them I can re-rise the prices and sit back and relax.
Could pay for the myself with my own money but I want them to pay for themselves.

@FX i will be sticking with dot coms only as both org and net were unregged which i think is very telling - i think with the amount of cash being invested in vr , companies will need to be on a .com for authority
