Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

this could be a game changer if it looks fantastic and works
I did think there would be more buzz about this great event

I had a Google cardboard only, but yesterday I received my first Gear VR, and man, I am hooked, it totally gives me goosebumps, I stayed for about 8 hours in it on and off, and today I showed my parents, they were in amazement, now I am convinced this is a TRUE revolution guys! It really is!!! It is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, I can only imagine when the TV was first invented, that is how people felt! When you experience this, it totally changes everything, and now I respect all our VR domain names much much more! Amazing times we are in, so lucky! Cannot even imagine in 5 or 10 years, this is totally nuts, totally mind blowing!

True, I belive this is the only technology that can compare with self driving cars in the revolutionary aspect.

I am very young in mind and heart! only 33

But with VR you can travel without a car!!!! you know? In my room!!!

Bro, please check a VR Gear or so! It is wonderful, nothing compared to the Cardboard thingy, I just had to post this, as I just watched some horror stuff on VR and it gave me goosebumps, really did. The mind just plays games, as I know it is not real, but my mind says it is.

I watched some soccer videos on nextVR, and it was crazy!!! Really felt as if I was there, and when there was a goal, how the whole stadium erupted, totally nuts!!

Ideally I would resell them. As VR becomes more mainstream I will have a better idea of how I could develop them. I think with a writing, story telling, or educational flavor I could develop these out of the list.

I stayed for 2 hours in it straight yesterday lol But it was a bit heavy on my eyes and head/brain, had to take a break, but could go on after that, but was just very excited as it is totally new to me as an experience.

Edit:

But I was hopping from app to app, and learning to work with it, but maybe staying in a match for that long is a different story, will let you know tomorrow.

Today I saw a match next to the goal, and the point of view/cam switches to mid field on the side lines etc. depending where the action is. NextVR really figured this out, it was really good! But those where only 3-5 minute videos, a whole game is completely different, no idea yet.

And I did look into 3d and vr, like if they go together or not!

I tend to see them as a synonym of each other, it is a double, a repeat style, so would rather only have one of those keywords in a domain, but that is just me.

Is it possible to watch 3D films on Samsung Gear VR?

Just recently, the Google cardboard enabler for Gear VR app was realeased for the samsung gear VR. (You can find in the google play store as “CB Enabler for Gear VR”).

This means you get the benefits of Google’s newest partnerships with major networks including: Netflix VR, HBO VR, NBA VR, and more to come.

Major Content plans are underway at many of these networks, including full 360 and 3D movie production.
