It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

Good to see some nice sales I have had some good keyword .us for years with zero interest.

Currently I have a premium .us on Sedo again zero interest!

Just picked up Rumor.us and Rumors.us as backorders.

Rumors.us would make a great gossip site with Rumor.us directed to it.

I set up a cheesy-looking construction page, but I plan to work on it in the next few days.

That's a shocker. I wonder if it's real.

Okay, but dnjournal has a reputation for publishing auction/sales results from Snapnames, the largest admitted domain auction fraudster in history. Also, the founder of dnjournal Ron Jackson, has an extensive .us portfolio, so IMHO, his data is skewed and biased. What's he going to say: "Sorry folks, the value of .us names is in the toilet?" Not while he owns lots of .us name, IMHO.

Nice generic keyword .US with a lot of potential end users.

Foreign GEO in US. Odd sale.

Brad

Typo of the domain hack uran.us?

It's an odd sale indeed. I don't buy into the Ron Jackson conspiracy theory but it it's Snapnames who the heck knows what really happened :)

It wouldn't be too unrealistic to suppose that there is a market for the roughly 500K Iranian-Americans. It's a nice name for anyone trying to build news links back to Iran - given the less than stellar political relationship.

A sale is a sale. It either sold for a specific amount or it didn't. I don't think he would risk his reputation to "skew" some .us sales.

Saw that iran.us sale as well and didn't make sense at first but taking a look at their site and they have:

"Thank you for visiting iran.us website. We are working to develop a perfect portal dedicated to Iranians in United States. If you have any idea that might improve the website, we are open to that. Thank you for visiting us and come back again."

IMO, you have an ax to grind with him, so your forum contributions are skewed and biased, and in fact predictable.
IMHO.
