You just asked that question.....They are your names do what them what you want. But know that the reason these are all dropping is becuase no one is able to sell them.

Actually, nothing has started dropping yet. mjnels was stating that most likely this will happen, but you never know until it does.

I honestly don't think that many people were trying to sell them yet. If they drop it would be more because if they're going to weed something out, it would be names that don't have a very obvious end user...such as an NNNN name.

If thousands of them are dropping my guess is that they are not worth all that much.

Peter, you posted this message a couple of months too early.

Nothing is dropping yet. Let's wait until April with the analysis.
B-)

Regardless of whether or not they have started to drop yet. You see that with LLL, and NNN the names are developed and sold regardless. I dont note any big sales as of yet with NNNN.mobi

It is a dilema. There are good reasons to believe that there may be a strong Asian end-user market for NNNN.mobis - independant of the NNNN.com market which is good but not spectacular.

But we have probably several years before we get there.

update: looks like i got it wrong... thousands of NNNN.mobi were renewed about a week ago.. one single registrant has renewed an estimated 4,000-5,000 of their NNNN.mobi through February 2009.

There will be mobi drops in 6-8 weeks. Probably a few NNNN, but there will not be any NNN or LLL - for sure, because those all had two year regs in October '06.

It sounds like the owner gave the market serious consideration and came to the conclusion that his NNNN would be a worthwhile investment. Great news for those who hold NNNN. I am thinking the .Mobi market is about to make another move upwards - resolution (at least mostly) of the Sedo mess, perhaps a high price for P0rn.mobi, more certainty that the mobile market is coming and that .mobi will play a large role in it.

NNNN.mobi

I'm in the same predicament. I have 23 NNNN that will expire today.
I really don't know if it's worth shelling out $12.95 each to hold em for another year.
I may look at the 5 or 10 best & drop the rest.
