Until the last day of September 2007, all of the 676 XXTV.mobi domains had been registered. On that day, a secret investor registered at least 200 XXTV.mobi domains within 1 hour! All gone! :yell: As fast as NNNN.mobi. were taken, faster than most people's response. Experts say that in the coming years XXTV. domains are expected to have more commercial values than those of AABB(domain style). or ABAB(domain style). domains, generally speaking.

Since February 2007, 10000 or so NNNN.mobi domains have been all taken. In May and June, 2007, all AABB.mobi and ABAB.mobi domains were all taken. (LLL.mobi and NNN.mobi domains were all taken as early as in 2006.)

.MOBI, as a fully developed and viable extension for those that are "on the go", has been unable to keep pace with the development and evolution of technological advances with regard to advances in auto-detection, browsers, GPS, and mobile surfing / formatting, IMHO. :gl: :blink:
Due to this, in part, is why .MOBI registrations have slowed considerably at this time! :imho:

For Wholesale domain traders, LLL and NNN .mobi's will retain some decent value due to their limited supply, naturally ... :talk:

Wonder why AABB and ABAB are considered better than pronouncables? It is true that the worst ABAB and AABB .Mobis are taken. But if one guy grabbed them then all that means is that one opinion, not necesarily true market forces. AABB and ABAB .nets are gone, too.

By explaination:
An ABAB domain has the same two letters twice repeating such as KMKM or VEVE
An AABB domain has the same two letters twice together: SSGG or YYTT

Have all the L-N and N-L.mobis been taken? I see these as the next most valuable after LLL and NNN because of the minimum 3 characters needed within the domain.
