Italy has 889 infected patients and 21 deaths with 64 in critical condition.

U.S.A Has 64 infected with ZERO deaths, 6 total recoveries and 1 critical.

Italy 239 new cases, 29 total deaths.
USA 5 new cases, 1 death.

Keep in mind that out of those 64 infected in the u.s not all are American. We took in many from Japan as a courtesy.

A man in his 50s with underlying conditions on Saturday was reported as the first covid-19-related fatality in the United States.

Jeffrey S. Duchin, the chief health officer for Seattle and King County, Wash., said the death occured at EvergreenHealth hospital in Kirkland, Wash.

US signs historic peace deal with Taliban, Pompeo strikes cautious tone.

The United States signed a historic peace treaty with Taliban militants on Saturday, aimed at ending the 18-year war in Afghanistan that began after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke cautiously in front of Taliban leaders in Doha, Qatar, calling the agreement a “true test” of their commitment to peace.

I think you are probably referring American passengers on a cruise ship that was quarantined in a Japanese harbor. I can't imagine any country accepting foreign nationals who have the virus.
