Here's hopping Biden can remember where he's at and who he's talking to for the next couple of months.

This will ultimately put the Taliban back in charge. Let’s see how that goes - probably not well for the women in that region.

Talk the talk, but make somebody else walk the walk, right? Unless you are ready to strap on some guns and go defend those women with your own life, the US military has no business being there.

I have worked personally with a couple women who will be affected by this. They are extraordinarily brave women. Even going out to vote is a brave act for an Afghan woman, and many have died doing so. The world can be an awful place, but it's not the job of the US to be the world's thuggish policeman.

What have you done to help Afghan women? Or is it just all about Trump?

Any predictions on what the stock market will do tomorrow, this week?

Coronavirus cases now in NY and Florida, West, East, South...........coast to coast now.

Trump is an idiot, truly. He just retweeted this, one of the things in this is about record breaking DOW.

https://twitter.com/DrLateNightNews/status/1234134697455779840

or 55% approval, when it's now 47%. Will check this tomorrow as well - https://www.rasmussenreports.com/pu...p_administration/trump_approval_index_history

The more the virus spreads, the worse the stock market, the virus is beginning to spread, the stock market is going down, possibly worse than last week, the fed made its correction last week, this upcoming week will all be on how much the virus spreads IMO

Sanders has a very strong following in Texas, Millenials, Females and the gay population are Sanders followers here.

Damn, I just went thru the main polls for the 14 states on Tuesday, kind of combined them, Biden might win only 3 states out of 14, fuck. Buttigieg should have endorsed Biden tonight, a lot of his followers could be going to Sanders. PeteToBernie is trending #1, I don't know how real that is.

Sanders for sure is getting the big states California, Texas. We need the C.I.A to get busy.

Alabama - Biden
Arkansas - Bloomberg, Biden
California - Sanders
Colorado - Sanders
Maine - Sanders
Massachusetts - Sanders
Minnesota - Sanders, Klobuchar - CLOSE
North Carolina - Biden, Sanders - CLOSE lean Biden
Oklahoma - Bloomberg, Sanders ? not enough data
Tennessee - Biden
Texas - Sanders
Utah - Sanders
Vermont - Sanders
Virginia - Sanders

All these stupid people going to get Trump another 4 years. Should simply go with who has the best chance to beat Trump, that's Biden.

I don’t think Bernie is deliberately working w Russia but they wouldn’t mind if he won the nom..or by some miracle, won completely. They said as much back in 2016.

- voted against the Magnitsky act
- voted against Russian sanctions

Keep Putin’s puppet or install a new “useful idiot”. Either way it’s a win.

His more vehement followers are like the MAGA crowd with blue hats. That kind of polarized fanaticism is toxic whichever “side” it supports.

But don’t worry about him establishing “socialism” if he were to get elected. He’s not a team player and in 30 years in Congress hasn’t actually accomplished much aside from a handful of Vermont specific bills. He’d just put out a bunch of executive orders like the current guy, which would be reversed in 4 years.

I talked or a friend on Skype last night, Gilsan. In your neighborhood and confined to her hotel because of the outbreak there. A family member came from Canada to ski in Hokkaido, and he's worried about return flights being blocked. But enjoying empty slopes. Things are starting to sell out in supermarkets as panic snowballs. Even I join in, because otherwise we'll be stuck without certain staples. First masks, then toilet paper, then rice and pasta...

The spread might be very limited in Japan as the weather warms, and people are already obsessive here. They wash their hands frequently, and even in normal times do things like not touching the handrail when using escalators. Good ideas anyway in a crowded place. And the PM s cancelling crowded events left and right - though he's more worried about his precious 2020 Olympics than anything else.

The impact on the economy is going to be massive, possibly worse than 2008, which we know was the worst depression in all of world history.:xf.wink:

There is almost certainly something going on behind the scenes, as it's hard to see how the response matches the disease. Hard to see how it will play out, too. Wouldn't want to be holding a lot of stocks now. Think they may bump up as the fear subsides, but crash again when the delayed effects kick in. Most people I know are losing money - except those who have regular salaried jobs.
When you say "in my neighborhood" do you mean Madeira Island were I live, or mainland Portugal?
So far in Madeira we've had just 1 suspected case, which turned out negative.
In Portugal, the first 2 confirmed cases were reported on today's news!

Pete buttplug plugs the... plug and quits after poor poll results in north Carolina.

Pete Buttigieg dropped out of the 2020 presidential race Sunday night after a roller-coaster campaign that saw him rise from total obscurity to Iowa victor — only to stall out Democratic primary race turned to more diverse states.

The 38-year-old former South Bend, Ind., mayor’s exit comes two days before Super Tuesday, opening up a wider path for former Vice President Joe Biden to become the moderate alternative to Bernie Sanders.
Due to the size of the plug, it took Pete a bit longer to pull it...
