Welcome to the first ever NamePros Rock Paper Scissors Championship!

It's one of the most popular games of the world: Rock Paper Scissors. The rules are pretty simple. You choose one of the three weapons and hope that it beats the weapon of your opponent. Rock smashes scissors. Scissors cut paper. Paper covers rock.

A match in this tournament will consist of 11 rounds of throwing. The person who wins more rounds, wins the match. If there's a draw in a knock-out match, the match will be decided via sudden death (next winning round wins the match). The players have to sent me their moves via PM till the respective deadline.

The structure of the tournament will be probably like the World Cup finals with a group stage and a knock-out stage, but depends on the number of participants. If there are less than 8 participants, it'll be a round-robin-tournament. The structure will be posted after the end of registration. There'll be presumably 2 matches a week.

If you want to participate, post something like "count me in" in this thread, so I know how many people want to join the tournament. The registration will be open till Friday, March 28, 6PM EST. Registration has been closed

You don't have to pm me your moves yet, as there is no schedule yet, but it's possible. The first deadline will be announced after the registration has closed.

The winner of this tournament will be crowned NamePros Rock Paper Scissors Champion and will be awarded also the mind-blowing, overwhelming prize of NP$50.... NP$500... NP$750... NP$1000 ... NP$1250! Hi there folks...sorry about the delay in things....on top of all the personal and job stuff going on someone up there decided that a nasty cold/flu hybrid or whatever the heck I have would be something I can juggle as well. I have been completely out of it since Thursday night and am barely coherent right now...

Hello folks....
Well after a few nights in the hospital I am back home....lets see if i can get this back on the road....

The playoff match ups:

Quarterfinal:

#1 FGclips vs. #2 Like5

#1 -RJ- vs. Trips No Limit

#1 Keverw vs. Winner of Lzy/Bfluid playoff

#2 Tight-Aggressive vs. #2 Lonely Designs


Format:

The wild-card playoff between Lzy and Bfluid will be single match of eleven throws + tie breakers.

The quarterfinals and semifinals will be a be a best of three.
Up to three matches of eleven throws + tie breakers will be played with the person winning two matches moving on to the next round.

Only one game a night will be posted for each of the match ups. You can send me the throws for all the matches in one shot or you can wait to send them to me on consecutive days if you want to change strategies.

Unlike the round-robin portion of the tournament I will not wait till the following morning for the late entries and each match will be posted shortly after 10pm PDT.

The Championship will be a best of five with the first person to win three matches of eleven throws + tie breakers being declared the champion.


Schedule:

Playoff between Lzy and Bfluid has a deadline of Tuesday May 20th at 10pm PDT

The quarterfinal has its first deadline of Wednesday May 21st at 10pm PDT

The semifinal has its first deadline of Wednesday May 27th at 10pm PDT

The Championship will have first deadline of Monday June 2nd at 10pm PDT with the champion being crowned no later than Friday may 7th at 10pm PDT.
