sales The right lander + pricing option: BIN, Make Offer, Lead form or Installments? Afternic, Dan, or Sedo lander?

Being asked a lot about these by other domainers, and right now it itches me to respond. Gonna outline this fairly simple for you below: - If you use BIN only, people who straight buy it now will buy. But you will reject those who think it's too pricey and would want to make an offer instead...

question-answered I've just changed to ns5/ns6 Afternic landers and no BIN button

Hi, I've just changed many of my domains to ns5/ns6 Afternic landers and what I see is may be for sale. I don't see any BIN buttons. Is this normal? Thanks

discuss Removing BIN prices on Afternic

Within the past year, I tried without the BIN, as the the domains were parked with BIN elsewhere. Without the BIN, I did have my best sale (over 1k). Since then, I added the BIN and FT, but have had only one sale in the low XXX range. So, for me, not having BIN appeared to work better. I...

Has anyone on here tried removing BIN prices for a month or 2 on Afternic? If yes did you see an increase in price requests?

What should be Lease and Rent price for a domain based on BIN

As you know DAN offers you to lease or rent a domain in addition to BIN. What I want to know is if there is any standard formula available when setting up lease and rent prices? For e.g. something like lease must be at least 20% of BIN and rent must be at least 25% !?

question BIN or Make Offer, which is better?

Hey, I recently started acquiring decent domains to sell at retail prices, but I have been struggling to put them under just BIN or Make offer. I have put all my domains as BIN right now. I have not sold any of my domains on Sedo/Dan/Afternic as of now so I really don't know which one is better...

advice To BIN or not to BIN, that is the question

I came to the realization that my usage of buy it now (BIN) pricing on 90+% of my portfolio is making this business less fun. I have nearly all of my inventory listed on Dan.com and GoDaddy with BIN prices. After having the best sales year last year and the first half of the year on fire, I...

discuss The art of setting the BIN

From the early days of my domaining career, the most difficult thing for me was BIN setting, especially for BIN only listings. The usual hurdles I have to overcome: 1. If i set it too high, i lose leads. 2. If i set it too low, i leave money on the table. 3. How to find a sweet spot, which...
