Damn, I hope this doesn't get me banned or whatever from NP, but I think the MODs are feeling the same way...
I'm so tired of cosmicray's bashing... err...trolling. Why does NP put up with this sh!t? He's got plenty of other threads to post in elsewhere on NP, why pollute the .MOBI board with his garbage? He's never added anything positive to the .mobi discussion... seems like he's envious that he missed out on .mobi... if he's not envious, then he' simply just plain old bitter. All the hates & naysayers are expecting .mobi sites to be finished yesterday... ridiculous.
After reading this thread and his other countless .mobi bashes, I had to put him on IGNORE.
here's a quicklink for anyone else that feels the need to do the same:
http://www.namepros.com/profile.php...=ignore&u=38968
I'm here to network, share, learn from others... to contribute, not detract... how & why does someone like cosmicray find the time to constantly trash what we are all trying to invest in or develop? Please just leave us the fluck alone.
I believe he's jealous or trying to get .mobi domainers to drop their prices so he can clean up when people jump ship early. same thing happens on stock trading boards all the time. same sh!t, different industry.
</rant>
I'm "semi-new" here so if this gets me banned, I apologize, but so be it. I believe I contribute more to the .mobi board, believe in .mobi enough to put my $ where my mouth is (.5% of all .mobis registered), have a reason to be here... plus I'm here to find ways to collaborate with others... be a positive force and stand firmly behind .mobi development & evolution.
</apology to NP>

I have asked Rick Schwartz what he's thinking about .mobi and his comment for purchasing flowers.mobi.
Rick's answer : Mobi is no com . Pure speculation
simple but efficient...he's the king
I asked him same thing over thanksgiving and his answer is:
........
"We'll all get to see together."
........
that sums it up.
and to all the people who are afraid that .mobi will get abandoned... so what if .mobi dies, I'll still have my portfolio and since I'm building them anyway, there's no reason why all the .mobi owners who have developed their domain can't band together and form their own ecosystem (ebay, myspace). I'm building my .mobis with or without anyone else... I'll get my own userbase and not rely on .mobi being the default extension on mobiles, if that happens... it's a bonus... but my future doesn't rest on that hope. I currently own 1000+ .mobis and each one will be developed using our own turnkey software, so yes: I believe that .mobi has potential, but I'm going to speed up the evolutionary process myself by building a cohesive network and any users I get will hopefully be helping me to promote my sites by word of mouth.
keep in mind, all my sites will be tuned for mobile devices and will also work for PC users... all devices... and no I'm not building adsense farms... fully featured community sites with commerce/content generated by users.
