It's a pleasure to learn a lot about domain investing at Namepros!
but have encountered some doubts that


My domain name in Afterinc is already listed at one price
and added to DAN, Sedo, using DAN's sales page
Is it necessary to list it on auctions.godaddy.com.
Would this increase the probability of sales ?

Maybe there are other markets and channels to list it?

Also, I added to Sedo that
Use txt parsing to verify if Sedo txt parsing fails
Will it still show up properly in the Sedo marketplace?

Bulk add domain to auctions.godaddy.com
How do I batch verify using txt, does this require TXT verification to be valid all the time?

I got it.

I usually add it to the Afternic list first
and then go to other platforms to add
Maybe, I should try to add to UNi
and other niche markets, it will increase the domain exposure

This company that seems to have great difficulty getting a handle on their fraudulent listings. So, I strongly prefer and have, indeed, gone elsewhere.

Thanks for the suggestion, but no thanks. I hadn't posted yet about my most recent find--notably domain names on the Afternic marketplace that are not even registered yet with the registry.

Recently, I found an Afternic seller with $4000 BIN set for domains they don't even own and had not even registered. Sorry, that's not the type of marketplace that I'm comfortable placing landers to promote such actions. And, since GD is ultimately responsible as the parent company, I'd just as well avoid the whole scene.

There's a limit to what is ethical and reasonable for a company to be doing. If we are pointing our landers to such a marketplace, are we sending the right message?

It's quite simple really. Afternic is the core that feeds the entire network.
When you add BIN priced domains to Afternic, listings are created and fed throughout their entire partner network starting with standard networks.

Godaddy Auctions is part of Afternic's Standard network and is usually the first to pickup the feed. (Not to mention, it feeds the Godaddy purchase path.)

I don't have all the answers or work for Godady/Afternic, but in my experience with the "UNI transition," I can only assume the same holds true for Dan.

The biggest issue with "Syndicating," through Dan and/or UNI is you have no idea which domains are actually listed through the partner networks and which are not.

This creates a ton of unnecessary work for sellers.

That's why it's always best to list directly through Afternic.

My domain was already listed for a BIN only price on GD auctions.

I changed the nameservers as per instructions (NS5/NS6.AFTERNIC.COM). waited about 30hrs, and found that the generated lander page states only that my domain may for sale etc.

I didn't get the BIN page as described in the GD instructions. Perhaps I missed something there?

No, there is no afternic listing.

I also checked that no-one else had listed it.

Many thanks as always Future, but I think that @411domains and @forge enlightened me that I also needed to list on Afternic.

The instructions at GD's website weren't exactly clear on that point.

As I know Go Daddy Auctions and Afternic Listing will have different result on Godaddy :

- Afternic Listing will appear as Premium Domain in Domain Availability Search as a suggestion. It is buy now result, and it is also shown in Afternic Network like Dynadot Search. Afternic Buy Now Listing in Fast Transfer will get maximal exposure on this kind of search.
- Godaddy Auction is just for Godaddy Auction, it is good for auction, especially low start auction with Reserve. Godaddy Auction will show the low price first, and for paid listing first.

So it is better we listed separate Afternic and Godaddy Auction with different format
