How do I add TXT record in DNS for domain which is registered with GoDaddy? I need it to verify domain ownership at Sedo.

Can't seem to find option to add TXT record in GoDaddy control panel. It is a .net domain currently parked at Bido. Screenshot given below:

Why are we traveling back in time so far today?:oops:

Any examples that you remember?
Although such a solution was not present at that time, I meant a domain marketplace that lets you configure TXT records for domains you've delegated to it, like this:

@Future Sensors, did you learn anything in the DM that you can share?
The member created a TXT record at Dyna NS, but those nameservers lacked an A record for the domain so the name could not be resolved. I recommended completing Bodis TXT verification first, then switching NS to Bodis.

on Dynadot I can add TXT record even though domain is parked at Bodis.
There are only two ways in which this is possible:
  1. Dynadot had/has a partnership with Bodis to display ads, so if you use Dynadot's monetized parking (or your domain expires), then your domain might show Bodis ads, but Dynadot can change the parking provider in this scenario anytime.
  2. Use Dynadot's nameservers, set the TXT record, and use their Forward "Domain Record" to redirect to https://bodisparking.com/$domain$
    • Bonus: You can forward to our parking service this way, too: https://www.namepros.com/parked/$domain$

Tip: $domain$ is Dynadot's special variable to represent the current domain. NamePros uses {domain} within our service.

Bonus: Alternatively, you can use our name servers to park with us and we have a feature to set TXT records on your domains using our service (e.g., Sedo's verification TXT record): https://www.namepros.com/parking/settings/dns

So just a thought (and sorry I haven't read through here to see if this has already been mentioned), I've posted in the landers thread about Dynadot domains not verifying. Could it be the case that even though Dynadot let you add DNS records when your nameservers aren't pointing to them, they won't actually propagate/take effect untill you switch to theirs (although this isn't indicated on their site).

Yes, that's exactly correct. You can set TXT records in Dynadot's DNS management, but if you don't use Dynadot's name servers, then those TXT records won't appear on the domain.

Tip: Choose "Dynadot DNS" from the options:
