What is this new extension gonne be about?

I heard that EuroDNS.com is the first ICANN-accredited .tel registrar but still there's no info about it's possible pricing.

If you asked people to spell .com when it first came out, Im sure some people (especially from some european countries like Gemany, would have spelt it .kom if they didnt know any better. So how is .tel being spelt .tell different. Once the 'highly brandable' .tell becomes more common place, Im sure most people will learn and remember how it's spelt, so I really wouldnt worry about it at this stage of the game.

.TEL is a competitor to .MOBI in the same way a golf cart is a competitor to a SUV. Both are targeted at companies wanting a mobile presence, but ultimately they are in different categories.

I'm sure a few companies will find a use for TEL, but overall it will be a horrible investment opportunity. It's not something for domainers should be looking forward to.

^ Personal insults are not necessary, friend ... and I've never stated that the .TEL "will be so popular" (please re-read all of my related comments regarding its brandability versus that of the highly problematic "dot Mobey"), IMHO. :gl:
I've repeatedly stated that I am not buying any, as well!

Thank you for not taking my comments and opinions out of context next time ... in order to - again - further your .MOBI Agenda™ and just because you are jealous and threatened by the highly brandable .TEL! :red:

If .Tel is so Highly Brandable as you say it is... Then why do you NOT want to invest in .Tel

You have been going on and on about how brandable .Tel is for quite some time now and how .Tel is superiour to .Mobi but you wont buy any .Tel!

This tells me that despite .Tel being brandable you still dont think it's good enough to invest you own money in. If not even Jeff believes in .Tel then why should i? Thus Highly Brandable™ becomes a moot point.

I wont buy any... But it sure is Highly Brandable™ So What? All that time and energy you have spent on NP to "Tell" everyone how fantastic .Tel is and yet you wont commit a single $ Cent to this Highly Brandable™ TLD.

And how can you compare .Tel to .Mobi? They are two different animals! .Mobi allows you to build websites on them .Tel dont! PERIOD.

Even if the entire humankind agrees that .Mobi is the worst TLD since the creation of the universe and .Tel is the coolest most brandable TLD ever created by man... This will still NOT change the fact that you cant build websites on .Tel domains.

So if you feel that .Tel is more brandable than .com and you would love to use it for your new cool website you wont be able to! What a bummer! Something that every other TLD & ccTLD allows. So being brandable becomes almost irrelevant for .Tel

I'm curious to learn you personal reason for not investing in .Tel despite being Highly Brandable™
