.tel extension

ICANN has approved an application for a new .tel domain.
The final contract has yet to be produced, but Telnic, the company that put in the application, is expecting to offer .tel domains by the end of 2006.

.tel is crap... i mean, why don't we all get our own tlds? Mine would be .tom or .poordoggie, crap, but ICANN would allow it! :hehe:

I think that tlds should be kept at .com, .net, .org, .biz & .info and of course ccTLDs. Any others should come in when all the TLDs get used.
