Listen up. This is ALL TRUTH. I will start off from the beginning.
On December 28th, 2002 my friend Michael Huff died from a snowmobile accident. He was going about sixty MPH and hit a chain. The chain almost decapitated him, all though it didn't, he died of blood loss at the hospital. He was riding with another friend, John Clement. John suffered from a cut to the neck, it damaged his voice box, but he's okay now.
I wanted to show me support for Mike and so didn't his friends. So I came up with the idea of registering a domain to dedicate to him. Well I saved up my NP$ and I finally got around to registering it. Well when I got it registered, I had a friend register it for me. He needed the domain, and user name and all that so I told him it... www.michealhuff.com Well I intended it to be www.michaelhuff.com. I noticed it later when people IMing and telling me that I spelled his name wrong. Well i sent an eMail to NameCheap.com explaining this mix up. They responded and asked for the reciept of the purchase. Well I had my friend froward me the reciept and I sent them it. No response from them, so I checked my NameCheap account. The domain with the typo was still registered. So at that point I didn't know what to do, so I decided to check to see if either of the domains was still there. Sure enough www.michealhuff.com WAS there but the hosting hadn't gone through yet for some reason (still hasn't till this day.. about a week or two have passed). I checked www.michaelhuff.com next, and what's there now was up. I don't know who posted that up there (possibly NameCheap), but I sure didn't. It's strange because that's the domain I wanted and should of had.. but because of my typo I lost it
. There's a phone number at the bottom of www.michaelhuff.com. I did a search for the number and nothing came up.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do next.. give up? eMail them back? Try to register it?
Thanks for reading this all
