Hello,

I am sorry, I have couple questions.. Excuse me :'(

I noticed that in many user profiles It show something like, User has agreed to the following rule(s): X, X, X..

May I know how do members agree to rules? Because when I see my profile, I do not see any rules I agreed to. I am not sure :red:

My second question is about Appraisals forum. I see that some members have their appraisals Q/A reviewed and qualify for np$ for posting appraisals, while some are not. Is there a certain criteria or model for choosing approved profiles other than what is written in Appraisal forum guidelines?

Lastly, It is a comment not a question really..Speaking about appraisers generally, I am not trying to be rude, but actually, members who post appraisals requests throughout the day..A very few percentage of them are appreciating the appraiser work by a simple rep.

Regardless of the appraisal being accurate or false at the end, or that it may not interest the topic starter, there should be some appreciation shown, even little. I know some people just enter random values, and some people really do a 3-4 minutes research to get an estimate domain value.

I am disappointed from most members asking appraisals in the domain appraisals forum. As this will only discourage me to appraise domains...and other appraisers too...and they will start to do less research on domain value, like missing step or two when doing appraisals..

So If members really want to know the possible value of their name, they should rep appraisers, this will encourage appraisers to do their best, trying to keep values close to real and this will only help the domain owner.

I am sorry for a long..confusing thread, with all love :xf.love:

Porte :)

When you create a thread in some forums (like Design Contests for example), before your thread is posted, you will be asked to read and agree to the rules. If you do, your thread is posted and it shows up in your profile. If you don't, you cannot create a thread in the forum.

Hope that helps :tu: .

#1 - When you start a thread in sections with rules (For the first time) - You have to agree to the rules then.

#2 - We dont Allow Rep for appraisals any longer - So they are just following the rules.

Aha, that explains it! Thanks. I never posted such threads, so I never ageed to them. Thank you a lot :)

Really sorry, could you direct me to updated rules for this? I thought NamePros was encouraging and asking members to rep appraisers. :)
