Something fishy - corporatedomains.com

I got a domain transfer request today that I did not initiate, to a registrar called Corporate Domains, Inc. www.corporatedomains.com. A google search shows them also using www.corpdom.com. ICANN lists them as an authorized registrar, but they have the EXACT same look & feel as enom, and could easily be confused to be the enom site other than the name logo. A whois search on enom shows they are located in Washington, and this company is located in Delaware. Therefore, it doesn't appear they would be related to enom being thousands of miles away.

Has anyone ever heard of them? are they related to enom? If not, how can they get away with copying the look & feel of enom's site? If they were an enom reseller, they would not be listed as an icaan accredited registrar themselves would they?

Oddly enough, a little further seach indicates that this company and enom's site are on IP addresses in the same class C block, but not the same IP if it were just parked on the enom site.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Maybe enom bought them out?

eNom runs the back-end of various registrars (Tucows does the same, too, as does Dotster and VeriSign). That's one where eNom handles the back-end.
