advice If the name word-word.com costs 2.000$ than how much costs the same wordword.com without dash? Not listed for sale.

If the name word-word.com costs 2.000$ than how much costs the same wordword.com without dash? Not listed for sale. It's actually listed, but not on selling platform, and only with make offer. Interesting question.

Why would anyone get a Reseller account from Tucows/eNom?

Back in the day, I used to have a Reseller account with a registrar called Bulkregister. They were really good (I was as happy as can be with them) but they got bought by eNom. I couldn't remember why I didn't continue on with a Reseller account with eNom but I think it might all be coming bak...

NameSilo is now charging $13.95 for a .COM

I like NameSilo, but I'm going to have to start using another registrar. What registrar has good prices (and renewal) with free privacy. NameCheaps private whois is poorly managed and I won't be using them. EDIT: It looks like you can get .com domains for $11.95 if you deposit money and use...

Is honor valued in this business?

Let me tell you one small story: the other day I raised the price of several of my domains. But before that I had sent some email offers to potential buyers with the lower price. One of them responded interested in the low price offer. I answered that I would honor the offer I made him via...

news A Google change could make domain research harder

Last week, I was renewing a lot of domain names ahead of this week’s price increase and ran into a problem. I look at a lot of factors when I renew domains. When I’m on the fence, and the domain is more descriptive than brandable, I often look at how many search results there are in Google for...

question Is there a "Sweet Spot" price that seems to work best for you?

Hi guys. For those who make a good amount of sales, is there a particular price that seems to work best for you? Obviously pricing depends on the name, of course. But have you noticed a pattern over time? Any particular price-point that seems to be the "sweet spot" for potential buyers...
