Hey all,

I need some advice from fellow NP'ers :) :great: I own the domain: LawFAQ.info

It has a site on it, but doesn't really bring in any revenue from ads. Should I sell this site and name or keep it? (I made it about 2 weeks ago).

Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

-Matt

You know... 54 unique users clicking on an undeveloped site in 5 days is pretty decent! 11 uniques a day, growable. In my opinion if I were you I'd keep it for a few more monthes.

I agree with what said above. Keep and develop untill you get a $xxx (low maybe) offer :imho:

Having represented myself a LOT in court (Family Court) I'd have to say that domain name is VERY catchy.

If you could do something worthwhile with it... even if you have links to government agencies and other sites that describe each facet and level of the court system. I'm thinking in Australian terms. I guess if you could have people submit links and descriptions and then you check them before having them go live, that in the very least could make a site worth visiting.

Throw in a Google AdSense campaign and it could be something that is worthwhile for YOU. :D

You could have a Search Law By Country.

Here's a few Australian links for you if you choose to go that route ;)

I'm not one to talk in $ figures but I heard of a law firm in New York that paid BIG DOLLARS for a domain name because the person who owned it had an AdSense campaign on it and as such had set it up so it had ranked high in the search results at google for people searching for lawyers.

It came up in an offline conversation. I can't remember all the facts. But if anyone is going to have a lot of money to spend then it's going to be a well heeled law firm.
