Should I get a domain for this site?

I have a blog:

(Not advertising... I really want your advice on this) - Should I invest 9 dollars and get a domain .com domain for it?

If so, can you PM me suggestions? I'd add to your rep (For not hoggin them all lol)

Absolutely get a domain. Also get some free hosting and host your own blog (unless blogspot lets you use your own adsense)

You may want to sell it one day.

I probably will never sell my blog, I love it (lol sentimental value), and I have a reseller account so I can get the small hosting space it would need. Would I have to publish via FTP then to host it elsewhere? How would I transfer it?

most blog scripts allow you to post blogs using wysiwyg editors, right in your browser, no need to ftp.

Hmm... maybe I could just forward the domain's index.php file (header() redirect) to the blogger address, then keep any external files in the domain.

Blogger can publish externally via FTP or SCP to your own hosting. Thats how I work my own blog; johnmalinowski.com.

I think that this was a good idea to begin with and if your blog is constantly updated etc. This will become useful.
