From the perspective of the users of this forum, would you consider "active" domain to include redirects?

My view is that while any registered domain is good from a registry's and registrar's bottom line, investors of new gTLDs will benefit most when there are real websites branding on the new gTLDs. That in turn, results in these websites being indexed in the search engines, and promoted by the efforts of the brand owners. All this increases awareness, acceptance, and value of the domains using that TLD. I consider "active" domains to be those used for websites, and not to include redirects? I see some domains posted on this page which are being used to redirect to non-gTLD website, and thus seek this community's acceptable usage of the term "active" domain.

TESTING.AGENCY
And what I especially like about this one is that the company is exactly what the domain name says it is. Nice example of the way ngtlds should be used.

Some new G`s are used for branding, that`s why they are redirected.
I am totally fine with it and consider them as active websites, some of them are actively advertised.
This redirected domains could act like a brand image online.
Please Check JustDoIt.com
Now how can you say this domain is not an active domain?

It's not an active website, justdoit.com. Which would somebody bookmark or pass on, the redirect domain or the site it actually goes too?

Depends on the effect of advertisement.
If they are actively advertising their new G, why not?
Take this one as an example : www.yesgood.website

.SUPPLY just about applies to almost anything, since we've found a way to commoditize pretty much everything. Think we'll see a lot more .supply being used going forward as more and more niche e-commerce sites develop around this extension.

Notice that they got justdoit in dotcom? Because a) type-ins would be for dot com; b) campaign would be more efficient on dotcom

By the way, great idea with the thread )

Someone should open another one "active websites with .com" ))
