How much would you pay for a website strictly based on the number of backlinks to it? Considering that you don't know how much revenue is coming in or how much traffic it is getting. You are strictly buying it because of how many backlinks it has.

For this example we will say the website has 300,000 backlinks.

Please let me know your opinion. Thank you for your time.

For me, personally, I would have to analyze some of the backlinks for quality. It's not all about quantity. You can have 300,000 backlinks but if they are mainly from what's considered to be "bad neighborhoods" or sites that have been penalized by google, that'll hurt you much more than help you.

Understandable, let's say that the website has a pagerank of 4 with Google and an Alexa traffic rank between 90,000 - 100,000. That way you can assume that Google at least likes the website and there is some good traffic going to it. That should make estimations a bit easier.

Well I can assume that Google at least like the backlinks..but then again..where are these backlinks coming from?
One of my sites has a PR of 2...probably most of the backlinks are from other site/blogs that I own that all link to it!

high $xxxx would make sense if you consider other aspects along with 300k backlinks.. I would definitely like to know about the url to get you some more suggestion :)

It's like shooting in the dark, without knowing much when you dont know the real deal, you know!
